Located in the beautiful mountain forest between the lovely village of Formiguères and its great ski station. In the Winter - Chalet "BeauBois" provides excellent access to skiing/cross ski - 3 mins away and the village of Formigueres - 2 mins with great local shops/restaurants and activities. The resorts of Les Angles and Fort Romeu are also easily accessible (under 20 mins by car).
In the summer - Chalet "BeauBois" with its 30m2 south facing sun terrace transforms into the ultimate mountain retreat for families wishing to make the most of this simply beautiful area and its amazing wildlife. Activities include - mountain biking, walking, trout fishing, hiking, tennis, sailing, para gliding, swimming and of course relaxing in local spa hot baths all on your doorstep. Excellent local markets are plentiful.
Formiguères is a winter / summer resort with its family alpine ski resort. You will also find near the wildlife park of Angles, the spa hot water baths of Llo, the Odeillo solar terrace. Spain and Andorra at about 20 kms.
Chalet BeauBois with its 30m2 sun terrace looking directly into the mountains has full heating, equipped kitchen, large lounge and dinning area, 2 luxury bathrooms, garage and washing machine area.

Very beautiful house

We had a great time. The house is very beautiful and we enjoy a lot the location too. Close to the Formigueres sky, and walking distance to the nice tiny village of Formigueres. We had such a lovely days with friends and kids, and a great new years eve. We’d love to repeat in the future!

Beau chalet à proximité du village

Belle location très bien située qui malheureusement souffre d'un manque d' entretien, en particulier au niveau du salon et des zones de couchage. Aucun état des lieux n'est fait en fin de séjour. La chambre principale avec le lit King size était heureusement l'exception, tout comme les salles de bain. La terrasse aurait aussi besoin d'être aménagée pour en profiter pleinement. Le propriétaire est toutefois a l'ecoute par mail ou téléphone. l'exceptionmatelas de qualite

Le chalet de James est très confortable et chaleureux . La possibilité de prendre la navette à qqs mètres de ce dernier pour rejoindre la station est très appréciable.

Prachtig ruim chalet in een mooie omgeving

We hebben volop genoten van een week in chalet Beaubois (augustus 2021)Heel ruim chalet, met boven 3 slaapkamers en 1 badkamer. 2 slaapkamers met veel kastruimte, de 3e slaapkamer heeft een kleinere kast en naast een 2 persoons bed ook een 1 persoons bed. De douche cabine is 2 m hoog, voor onze 2 mannen die 195 cm zijn kan het net maar houdt niet veel over. Het scheelt dat er ook een regendouche in zat. In de hal staat een stapelbed, tegenover de 2e badkamer, het chalet is zodoende geschikt voor 9 personen. Het chalet bleef dankzij de luiken heerlijk koel binnen. Buiten genoten van het ruime terras! Diverse spellen en dvd's in het tv kastje, en er was een gitaar, leuk voor onze musicale zoon, die daar een aantal keren dankbaar gebruik van heeft gemaakt. Tegenover het chalet is een bos waar je fijn kan wandelen. Rustige omgeving en op loopafstand van Formigueres.

Belle semaine dans les Pyrénées

Nous avons passé une belle semaine à la montagne et au calme. Le chalet est très bien aménagé, on a envie d'y rester ! Il y a beaucoup d'activités dans un rayon de quelques km.

Great location for skiing in a picturesque valley.

An extremely well presented chalet clean and equipped to a high standard. Close to ski lifts and all local activities and amenities offering good services and restaurants. Would certainly recommend for a perfect family winter holiday. We will return in the summer for the walking in the forests and fresh mountain air.

Fabulous Formigueres

What a comfy cosy stay we had in this wonderful resort of Formigueres. The chalet is very well equipped, lovely Egyptian cotton sheets and great showers. It has a wonderful sunny terrace and is fabulously warm. Highly recommended for couples or families. Also wonderful in the Spring and Summer!
