Surrounded by beautiful, unspoilt countryside vibrant with vines and sunflowers, surprisingly this home is situated just five minutes from the picturesque and popular Bastide town of Eymet.
The serene grounds here include formal gardens, multiple terraces, an enchanting lake and wonderful woodland walks. Relish a relaxing lunch on the al fresco terrace overlooking the majestic lake, or lounge the day away basking in the glorious sunshine beside the heated saltwater infinity pool.
Showcasing a careful, curated and stylish restoration, the château boasts meticulous attention to detail throughout, complimented by beautiful, French furniture and its luxurious, chic home-away-from-home ambience.

Located in the Dordogne only three kilometres from the very popular Bastide town of Eymet, replete with its charming bars and restaurants dotted around its medieval cobbled streets, Lac is the doorway to the very best that the South West of France has to offer. The Chateau has a stunning location up on the top of Serres et Montguyard and in the beautiful wine region of the Dordogne, with its many picturesque market towns and villages.

The reception rooms are large and numerous. In the Chateau there is a formal Dining Room as well as a drawing room and more relaxed living room. The kitchen is stunning and well equipped. The Coach House is linked to the Chateau and has stunning views over the lake. The accommodation is still of the same luxury standard ; In addition, there is a further kitchen, beautiful living room which opens up to a large terrace and an Orangery The Chateau can come fully staffed with a Chef and house keeping at an extra cost.

Bergerac airport is just 25 minutes away ,and Bordeaux airport is an hour and a half away

If you are looking for a dream chateau for that quintessential French experience, yet where you instantly feel at home, then Chateau Lac is precisely the place. Beautifully restored, spacious, comfortable and very well appointed in terms of accommodation, catering and entertaining, it had everything we needed for a fantastic fortnight with family & friends. Owners Jonny & Liz couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful in ensuring we had a truly memorable holiday – one we hope to repeat in the future!
