The apartment
Number Ten brings together contemporary boutique styling and original Victorian features, creating a comfortable and well-equipped base for exploring London.
Arranged across three internal levels connected by stairs, a light-filled private staircase adds space, character and an airy feel, linking the ground-floor entrance, first-floor shower room and second-floor accommodation comprising a double bedroom and open-plan sitting, dining and kitchen area.
Please note: the bedroom is located on the upper level, while the shower room and WC are one floor below (approximately 20 steps). While this characterful arrangement contributes to the apartment's sense of light and space, it may not suit guests with mobility concerns or those wanting a bathroom directly beside the bedroom.
The living space features distinctive arched windows overlooking a leafy residential street together with two large skylights that fill the apartment with natural light. Getting around London
Clapham Junction railway station is a short walk away and offers frequent direct services into central London throughout the day. Mainline trains to Victoria and Waterloo take less than 10 minutes, making sightseeing, shopping and business travel easy. Direct services also provide convenient access to destinations including Putney for riverside rowing events, Twickenham for rugby internationals and Kew Gardens, whilst London Overground connections provide access to Chelsea Harbour and the Design Centre at Imperial Wharf.
London also has an excellent bus network, with convenient services to Chelsea, Sloane Square and the King's Road. We had a fabulous stay at this lovely flat in Battersea/Clapham! Very comfortable, spotlessly clean, fantastic location close to shops, restaurants & transit!! Charlotte was a great communicator with lot’s of advice on the area…terrific High Street just around the corner! We travelled the city & loved coming back at night!
The space was clean and the location was perfect for food and shopping as well as the train station within a 10 min walk. Would recommend a stay here if you want to enjoy all parts of London!

We had a great time at this lovely apartment. We stayed two weeks and had a blast, near many cute restaurants and shops. Trains and tube station was nearby. Bed and linens were very comfy. We made a few meals there and the kitchen everything we needed. Host was great to communicate with and accommodated our request to get there a bit early. Would definitely stay there again.

A charming, characterful and lovely place in a terrific neighborhood. The area is very alive and dynamic while being away from the extremely crowded parts of central London… more of an urban village. The house itself is on a nice quiet street with easy access to shops and food just around the corner. Buses & trains easily accessible. Exceptional communication with host. Highly recommend!
Very comfortable clean place. Lovely surprise of snacks and cereal, and milk. We had problems with coffee maker and Charlotte was quick to have a new one sent right away. It is close to bus and train. It is also close to a district of bars and restaurants which was alitlle loud on the weekends, but not horrible, we were still able to sleep.
It wasn’t a problem for us but bathroom is 3 flights of stairs from bedroom. I am only mentioning so it is considered if you have mobility problems,

Absolutely everything we had hoped for, just round the corner from Northcote Road with an abundance of cafes and restaurants nearby. Short walk to Clapham Junction to enable you to get anywhere in London. Apartment was beautiful with everything you would need for even a longer stay. Just need to be aware there a few flights of stairs to navigate to get to the Apartment, but that helped with keeping daily exercise up there. Hopefully will get chance to take advantage of this accommodation again
Easy access to the West End from a pleasant and lively inner suburb provides an ideal holiday experience at this property.
Northcote which surrounds Clapham Junction overground railway station, is a bustling area of shops, including up-market specialty establishments, and a couple of good pubs. Trains leave for Waterloo and Victoria stations very frequently.
The bedsit in Auckland Road is well-fitted out with most of the kitchen amenities you would need in a combined sitting room and kitchen with comfortable furniture. The adjoining bedroom is spacious enough and the bed comfortable. Downstairs is a bathroom with a very good shower of modern standard European design.
There is also a washing machine with combined dryer, and the wi-fi works very well.
Excellent location for our needs, including transport options and local facilities. Lovely presentation and we appreciated the thoughtful welcome supplies. Will definitely return.
My stay at Number 10 was absolutely lovely. The flat is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped. The location is perfect, just a few minutes away from Clapham Junction and all the shops and pubs. Charlotte is a very reactive and caring landlady, and I would definitely recommend her lovely accommodation!
I’m looking to move to the area and this place was amazing. Perfect location, great bed and lots of room. Does have a lot of steps so beware of that but I’d definitely stay here again!
