Creeksea Place, Breathtaking Elizabethan Manor House

When not being utilized as a filming location (Great Expectations, BBC's The murder Game) Creeksea Place opens its doors to the UK's most exclusive bespoke weddings. The Eastern Wing, nicknamed 'The cottage', is the Bridal Suite for these occasions. Whilst the rest of the house will be closed off, you will enjoy secured parking, a truly lovely, award winning cafe next door, access to our fishing lakes and torrents of walking opportunities, taking you through the very definition of charming, serene English Countryside.

Lovely spacious period cottage in the quiet countryside.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our two week stay it was the perfect spot for us.
The grounds are amazing, the cottage is very quaint, and you can light a real fire. You feel like you are staying at a stately home, the estate is very safe and secure . You can take a short walk to the marina through a vineyard .The stairs to the bedroom are very steep
Wow, we had an amazing time, the house and the grounds are truly breath taking! The staff are lovely, make sure you take the time to do the private history tour. Geoff was also very informative. Jon paul communicated everything so well we knew what we were doing from start to endWe cant wait to come back.

The staff we met were all very friendly and helpful.
Loved the log fires we had some evenings. Enjoyed the grounds to walk in and lots of places to sit and enjoy the sun and wildlife. Had fun exploring the area and watching the boats in various marinas and on the river

5 stars!
We really enjoyed our couple of days away from the busyness of the Christmas/New Year period. The cottage was very cosy, comfortable, quiet and with good spaces. It was so lovely walking from our front door along the river or across country into Burnham on Crouch. Right from booking it, we were made to feel very welcome. Many thanks.
Stunning property! Stayed nearly 2 weeks due to father's passing and funeral nearby, and it was so nice to unwind, walk in the gardens, eat outside with birds & bunnies. We even saw Muntjak and a fox! Full kitchen with supplies was Fab. Clothes washer was great. Internet and immediate hot water in shower were spot on. Spacious living spaces and bedroom with darling bridal dressing room! Fishing was great, too!
Creeksea Manor Cottage is a wonderful and deliciously private little gem, where you can feel the centuries of history while enjoying the many contemporary features, including a very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, Wi-Fi and conveniently placed power points. The beautiful garden was a delight – from the rabbits on the lawn in the early morning, lunch with my family in the shade of the trees, to the peace of a quiet glass of wine at dusk, I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday weekend at the cottage, and wish I’d had an extra day or two to relax there afterwards. The prompt and friendly responses to my booking questions, attention to detail and fabulous service all helped ensure that my stay was a special one.
