About this property
Why do we call this stylish beach loft dreamy?
A rustic-chic duplex loft in Poblenou—about a 5-minute walk to Bogatell Beach. High ceilings, exposed brick, and a “volta catalana” vibe, plus a stocked open kitchen, washer dryer, and fiber Wi-Fi. Sleeps 5 with two double beds upstairs + a double bed in the downstairs bedroom.

If you’re here for the city
Bogatell is the seafront of recently gentrified neighbourhood Poblenou, whose skyline rivals that of other important European capitals’. Formerly a small fishing village that became urbanised for the 1992 Olympic Games, Poblenou has its unique look and feel among Barcelona barrios. The appeal of the city brought a lot of tech companies here, making it a sort of Silicon Valley for start-ups. This makes for a very diverse and multicultural environment on Bogatell Beach.
You’ll also be close enough to the city center (approx. 20 min on public transport or taxi, about a 35 min walk), where Barcelona’s vibrant day & nightlife, with its contagious exuberance, is constantly spilling out onto small streets and cute Plaças packed with cafes, bars and local designer shops.
Along Rambla del Poblenou, running from Avenida Diagonal to the beach, you will encounter a very eclectic mix of dining options, convenience stores or famous local pastry shops. Barcelona’s famous Torre Agbar, (the conic shaped building that will catch your eye for sure), The Design Museum right by it and an amazing flea market called Encants are all around Poblenou’s Plaça de les Glòries.
If you’re here for the beach
Bogatell is one of Barcelona’s newest beaches. Renovated in the 90s when the city’s coastline was rehabilitated to host some of the Olympic festivities, it is now a local favorite, not just for sunbathing and water sports, but also for everyone enjoying ping-pong, beach volley, or football.
Due to its recent urbanization, this 700m stretch of perfect sand is one of the best quality seafronts Barcelona has to offer. The Sunny & Serene flat is about 5 minutes away walking - access to Bogatell doesn’t get any better than this.
If you’re here for the nature
Parc Guell, Parc de Ciutadella and many other locations such as Montjuic or Tibidabo are easily accessible by metro, bus or taxi. There are many places where you can enjoy the beauty of nature, wild colored flowers or fragrant bushes. Just to visit all the attractions of Montjuic could easily take you a week. Here you can find not one but two wondrous botanical gardens, one of them a cactus reservation that’s one of the most Instagrammable natural wonders of Barcelona, The Fundacio Miro, The Poble Espanyol, The Theatre Grec, Palau Sant Jordi or explore some of the former Olympic village attractions.
If you’re here for shopping
Shop ‘til you drop! Or maybe not that much, but still, find local designers and cute boutique stores in Europe’s biggest Luxury Shopping Mall: Diagonal Mar. If you’re looking for more diversity, take the Yellow Metro Line (L4) directly to Passeig de Gracia Pro tip: A lot of stuff happens in Poblenou, food and fashion fairs; make sure to check social media / the internet for such pop-up events, they tend to be a lot fun.
If you’re here for museums
Rest assured, both neighbouring Ciudat Vella, Born and Raval are full of museums, monuments and interesting cultural venues like The Picasso Museum, Museo de la Marina, MACBA (for Contemporary Art) or the Catalan Cultural Center, plus some fun and interesting stuff for kids if you need to entertain them (Big Fun Museum, Museum of Illusions or the Wax Museum). Bonus, you can take the Yellow Line (L4) to Barceloneta and walk to the Barcelona Aquarium. Also, the Chocolate Museum in Born is always a hit with the kids.
