About this property
Host & Stay | Tenby Cottage
Summary:
Tenby Cottage is a beautiful holiday home with plenty of charm. Sleeping up to 6 guests across 3 delightful bedrooms, the cottage is perfect for family staycations and getaways with friends. If you’re looking for a self-catering retreat on the coast, look no further than Tenby Cottage.
The Space:
Spread across three floors, Tenby Cottage has a living room, open plan kitchen and dining area, three bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. Beautifully decorated, there is a charming and homely feel which flows throughout the cottage.
Head to the living room and you’ll find a truly cosy space. With a log burning fire, flat screen TV and two sofas, this is the ideal spot to snuggle up with your loved ones and enjoy a night in front of the box. In keeping with the style of the cottage, this room has a light colour scheme with washes of baby blue and teal.
The open plan kitchen and dining area is a mix of modern and traditional. The kitchen boasts sleek white, high shine cabinets and black speckled worktops. Ideal for self-catering stays, it is fully equipped with everything you should need from an oven and hob to a kettle and toaster. Bringing in the traditional feel is the wooden dining table and woven chairs. Perfectly placed, you can socialise, entertain and enjoy meals in this room.
There is a WC located on the ground floor. Take the stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find two bedrooms and the family bathroom.
The master bedroom features a comfy double bed with crisp white linens and blue soft furnishings. Working well in the space, these colours complement the pale mint coloured walls to create a tranquil atmosphere. Unique ‘knot’ style bedside lamps nod to Whitby’s maritime history and there is ample storage space for all of your belongings in the large wardrobe.
You’ll find twin single beds and a country cottage look in the second bedroom. Checked blankets, pale walls and charming accessories help to create a cosy feel.
The family bathroom features a bath with an overhead shower, dark brown tiles and a basin. The WC is located in a separate room off the hallway.
Head upstairs to the top floor and you’ll find the third bedroom. With sloping ceilings and skylight windows, the attic room is warm and homey. Ideal for couples or solo members of your party, this room has a double bed.
Tenby Cottage has a lovely enclosed outdoor area suitable for enjoying the fresh sea air and al-fresco dining.

Over the bridge, you’ll find yourself on the East bank which is full of narrow medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and even more fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.
Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.
