WELCOME TO APPLETON COTTAGE- My Summer Place by the lake
located along the shores of Southern Georgian Bay only 1.5 hours north of Toronto .

Entire family home and only 3 mins. walk to sandy, shallow Georgian Bay beach.

Available for rent May - October

Our home away from home is a cozy family cottage that is
3 bedrooms,
1 full bathroom ,- newly renovated 2022
can accommodate up to 6 people
New Kitchen cabinets- newly renovated 2019
full kitchen complete with cooking utensils. pots and pans etc.
Living room has a plasma TV
Free internet and wifi provided - Roger Ignite Internet 500-Ultd , unlimited monthly usage , download speed up to 500 Mbps
We have a large private lot nestled among mature pine trees and a meandering stream
with a backyard patio and a gazebo and parking up to 2 cars

Great place to stay.

Stayed for a week, its a great place to stay, lots of property, close to the beach. The BBQ was great so we didn't have to turn on the oven. Dressers in the rooms, lots of room inside for a rainy day.. loved our stay so much, were already booked for next year.

Wonderful getaway at Appleton Lane cottage.

Great stay at a lovely little cottage. Loved the beach and how close it was. The water was fabulous and a great spot for young children. Overall a fantastic holiday. Hope to come back next year.

Tiny ontario Cottage

Clean and tidy cottage with big yard close to beach

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen and bathroom have been nicely remodelled and everything was spick and span. The huge yard on a quiet cul de sac would be a great place for children to play, and it's only a 3 minute walk to the beach.

This cottage fit our needs perfectly. Close to the beach. And they included a parking permit (the only way to park at other beaches in the area). A real plus!

This cottage is very private and had everything we needed and more. The furniture was comfortable and the yard was beautiful. The owner answered all my questions promptly and thoroughly. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I wished for was lighting over the kitchen sink.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The grounds were well maintained with lots of space for kids to run around. The fire pit area was great and lots of wood was provided. The property is dated yet very clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was short. The beach was beautiful and not too busy during our stay. The property manager was easy to communicate with and adressed our issues in a timely manner. The We would recommend this property for smaller groups of people.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. We especially enjoyed the land space and the use of the fire pit. I’m glad that the cottage was very clean. Normally I come across spiders in cottages, but there were absolutely none in this one!

Cozy Little Cottage - Perfect for Weekend

Cottage was exactly what we needed. Cozy but more than enough room for us. Lots of property on an end lot made for a great time playing Frisbee and other games with the girls. Fire pit was perfect, but remember to bring your own chairs. Cottage was clean and all the amenities were greatly appreciated. We loved our little weekend getaway to Tiny, ON. We'll be back.

Quaint Cottage

Stayed at this cottage during the last weekend of July 2017. A true cottage with low-key decorations and a fantastic fire pit. Three simple bedrooms with comfy mattresses, all queen or double. All of the windows open with screens so you can breathe in the country air. Kitchen is tiny but stove and fridge are full size. We cooked on the fire pit complete with grill. There is also a gas bbq but we didn't bother. Beach is a short drive (less than 5 minutes) or you could walk if you don't have much to bring. Beach has a boat launch as well with parking for trailers. Bring food, condiments, spices, foil...everything you need for the kitchen. There are lots of pots and pans, a few mixing bowls, plates etc. We opted for paper plates to keep the dish-washing to a minimum. We found a farmer selling wood for $5 a bag off of 26/27 which I would recommend. There are a few logs around but you need to bring the bags of wood for a proper fire. There is also a nice wood burning stove inside to take the chill off. It was easy to find and a quiet neighbourhood. This cottage would work well for families and couples.
