Príncipe Real is an upscale area known for its 19th-century mansions, happening gay bars and fashionable shops. The Moorish-style Embaixada palace, is a premiere shopping destination showcasing local designers and concept stores. The neighborhood also has many small art galleries and antiques shops. Tranquil spots include the Príncipe Real Garden, with shaded benches under its vast, umbrella-like cedar tree.
The nearest Metro station is Avenida, a 5 minute away from my home. It connects to the AZ line.

The apartment was clean and well located in the city. However, I did not get internet for 4 days, the heat was minimal for three, and I had to spend several hours waiting for a service person to fix a shower hose that broke during a shower. I would not use Guest Ready again - although they said they were always available, it was not helpful to have such delays in service.
We had to check out early. There were a ton of ants in the kitchen. We had left chips and crackers in the counter and the next day they were all over everything. There was also black mold in the refrigerator. We only put sealed items, water, soda and wine in the fridge. I asked to get my cleaning fee back. I felt that they should have known it was not cleaned properly. I know Amy’s can happen but with that many ants the cleaning company should have known. I would double check the fridge and look for ants or at least ask if they have resolved the issue before booking.
Good location, easy check-in, very nice apartment. A few minor issues occured during the stay, but the big one was the loss of electricity. We were out of electricity for over 24 hours. Although they were available in the chat, no one came to the apartment to help us out. No electricity meant no AC and the loss of our food in the fridge. We would have appreciated more support for this matter. That said, it was a nice apartment and we had a lovely time in Lisbon.
We lived in Lisbon for several years so we wanted to stay in only specific areas. Principe Real was one of them. It is fairly residential but has local restaurants nearby and is only a couple blocks from Avenida metro stop. There are bus stops not far away also. This apt was huge! 2 full bathrooms is a rare find. It was clean, basic toiletries and cleaning supplies provided. Communication was quick. Listing was accurate. My only complaint was that 2 of the 3 AC units dripped. We chose to use them only for a few minutes at a time to take the worst of the heat out of the room and save the walls from being wet. We opened windows at night which was fine but a bit noisy on the street side. I did alert the mgmt company and theu said they would make a note of it. If you're looking for an authentic tasca (mom n pop restaurant) there is a great one down the hill called, O Fumiero. It's not so easy to find these as it was 10-15 years ago. Overall, I would stay here again!
Appartamento molto grande e comodo, stanze ampie e e soggiorno luminoso.
