Rhodehouse Retreat! Your destination for Year Round Fun!

Our beautiful Island Park Cabin is located just above shot gun! We have set up a perfect circle drive and also provide enough room for ATV and trailer parking! We have a beautiful designed set up for large or small groups/families! We have 4 bedrooms and 3 additional queen size beds in the loft. 3 bathrooms/ 1 on each level. We hope to make your stay a little less stressful with a fully stocked kitchen! Washing machine and Dryer are provided. Enjoy a relaxing movie from one of our 3 flat screen TVs. Free and fast WiFi internet and long distance phone are provided! Enjoy a relaxing evening by the warm propane stove in the living room on those chilly evenings. A BBQ Grill and electric smoker with wood chips are available on the deck. With a beautiful and peaceful view off the deck it is a perfect place to relax. If in the mood try out the fire pit on those summer nights, throw some marshmallows on the fire sticks which are provided and then relax in the hot tub! We hope you will be up for some fun with our awesome game set up in the basement! Enjoy air hockey, skeet ball. And don't forget the fun playground area for kids located out the back. We are located close to ATV trails, hiking and fishing.
We hope to be able to share the beautiful scenery and experience of island park with others and hope you will love it just as much as our family!

We absolutely loved staying here! Plenty of beds to accommodate us. Game room was a blast and kept the kids entertained. Huge dinning room table to eat and play games. Very clean! Will definitely stay here again!!

My family had a great time in our after xmas getaway in this amazing cabin. It was amazing keeping everyone entertained with all the amenities offered at the cabin. Owner was so awesome & very friendly in anything needed.Would yotally recommend & stay again.

Best accommodations yet!

The property is fantastic, comfortable beds, clean, wilderness feel, not too close to neighbors, and had everything you would ever need. We saw more moose around the cabin than we did in Yellowstone. Eagle Ridge Ranch was recommended for horse back riding from Shane and they were great! Overall if we come back to Yellowstone we will be staying here again.

Amazing cabin

The cabin was amazing, amenities were great. We were 4 adults 2 children. They have a playroom with air hockey and other games, a playground, and a hot tub. The host was very accommodating , very easy to communicte with. Close to west yellowstone.

We came to visit Yellowstone and spend time with family. The Roadhouse Cabin gave us all the comforts of home. The amenities were great, comfortable beds for everyone including extra blankets and towels. So comfy! We loved our stay and even wished we could stay longer. When Yellowstone closed

We were there in June when Yellowstone closed. The cabin is well stocked, spacious, and plenty to do indoors and outdoors! Even though we could not go to Yellowstone, we still had a great time and really enjoyed our time at the cabin.

Perfect for our family vacation

We were very satisfied with the whole experience. The property listing was detailed and accurate. The booking process was easy and Shane always responded timely when we asked a question. Given the location, the peak time of the summer, the fact that there was lots of room for the eight of us and the amenities, the price was very fair. The cabin was very well furnished and stocked. Our grandkids loved the playground area, the backyard fire pit (for smores) and the game room. We drove up to Yellowstone every day but one and it was about a 40 minute drive. Although a little shorter drive would be nice we wouldn't give up all the positives that this property offers to save a few minutes driving time each day. We can definitely recommend Shane's property and if we head back that way we'd certainly try to stay there again. Thanks Shane

We had such a fantastic stay at this home—it truly deserves all five stars! From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, welcoming, and homey—not like a typical VRBO. The space is incredibly clean, yet still comfortable and livable, with thoughtful touches everywhere.The closets are stocked with helpful essentials—cleaning supplies, garbage bags, laundry detergent, and more—which made our stay that much easier. There’s even a closet full of games that kept the kids entertained for hours. The large kitchen table was perfect for our group meals and game nights.There are two separate living areas, each with cozy couches, which gave everyone plenty of space to relax. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable!Outside, the backyard is a dream for families. The playground was a huge hit with the kids, and we loved all the extra amenities: a barbecue, what we think is a smoker, an outdoor Dutch oven, and even an Instant Pot inside. Laundry was a breeze with two full sets of washers and dryers.The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and welcoming—everything you hope for in a great rental. The location is also ideal: a relatively short 40-minute drive into West Yellowstone made our park days very manageable.One of my favorite details: the whole house has a fresh pine scent throughout. I’m usually sensitive to fragrances, but this one was subtle and clean—just added to the cozy atmosphere.Highly, highly recommend this home.
