Delightful Cottage
Delightful and comfortable cottage on edge of NP close to Ullswater and Aira Force, in a small village not yet overrun by the hoards of tourists Super efficient communications and check in procedure, and welcome bottle of wine on arrival was very much appreciated after a long drive!

Lovely location
This cottage is in a perfect location for easy access to Ullswater. The village is quiet but easy to get to from the motorway. The house was clean and nicely decorated. The garden wasn’t ideal with a dog as it linked on to other gardens and cooking equipment wasn’t enough to cook a meal for 4 as there were only 2 hob rings and very small pans and dishes so we had to get take aways. The main room was a good size but the second bedroom was quite small for older children to share. It was a comfortable cottage for a few days in The Lakes and the owners were very helpful. We found it easy to get to Derwent Water for a day out.

We are both pharmacists who moved to Cumbria in 2004 and we live in an old railway station in Cliburn Village, approximately seven miles from this property. We started renting out property after converting a disused Signal Box and Weigh Office beside our house and enjoy nothing better than seeing guests enjoy the area.
In our spare time we like to run, walk and cycle through the wonderful scenery of the Eden Valley and The Lake District.

Why they chose this property

We just fell in love with this property when we first visited it and its location is perfect to enable guests to enjoy everything this beautiful area has to offer.

What makes this property unique

Charming cottage in a village location with easy access to The Lake District National Park, The North Pennines and The Eden Valley.
