With sea views aplenty, there is so much to love about Sandrock House. Just footsteps from the beach and with lots of great places to eat, drink and shop nearby, the property boasts three bathrooms and has been decorated and furnished to provide light and airy accommodation for guests looking for a truly coastal break.
Sheringham itself boasts a high street packed with a good mix of artisan and boutique shops, cafés and restaurants and is also home to North Norfolk Railway, a steam train that heads along the coast and a mainline station which can take you to Cromer the Norfolk Broads and even in to the Medieval city of Norwich with its much celebrated Norman Castle. Nature lovers will enjoy Sheringham Park, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and Cley Marshes and can even be in the gateway to Norfolk’s famous waterways in around 40 minutes.
Coast lovers will enjoy a range of habitats including wide sand and shingle beaches, marshes and quays. Head to Cromer and take a stroll along its famous pier or go west to Blakeney and enjoy a spot of crabbing. Add in Amazonia Zoo, Bewilderwood, The Muckleburgh and Thursford Collections, including the famous Thursford Christmas Show, lovely Georgian Towns like Holt to explore and a host of other attractions and you will soon see why people flock to this part of the coastline year after year. After a busy day, return to Sandrock House and watch the sun go down as the tide laps the shore. Beach 50 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
