Needs Improvement!
We got to the property at 11:30pm and the manager helped us identify where it was. We went out to eat and when we were ready to settle for the night, around 2:30am, we noticed the linen on the beds was dirty. The white linen had hair and fuzz on it. The covers and pillows smelt of sweat and had stains on them. I sent a text to the manager and an email to the owner. Manager showed up at 9am, and stated that he had his family from England there and he did not wash the covers. I showed him the dirty pillow cases and sheets and he continued to say they were washed. Owner wrote to me and asked if I wanted items rewashed which I agreed to.
I have no problem with Walmart products, but if you chose to buy them, you need to be ready to replace often. The white linen was discolored and smelt. Information on where to get pool key was inaccurate and when I requested about it's whereabouts, I was told I would be assessed a $50 fee to replace it. Owner finally wrote to let us know the new location of the key. Handbook states we have to wash towels and dry them and wash linen prior to leaving, which we did. The problem might have been the previous guests didn't wash anything and it was left for us to use as the manager Chris stated it is very difficult getting cleaning people down there. Very nice place, poorly kept and managed. Owner stated she had purchased new linen. I hope the next guests have a better experience.
