Lovely holiday rental, lovely place, lovely owners

We spent two weeks in Avola at Irene and Giuseppe’s villa. The house is very comfortable, with air conditioning in the two double bedrooms and fans for other rooms. It was particularly hot during our stay and so the air con was definitely needed. The beds were very comfortable and there is ample linen and towels provided. You can walk to the sea in less than 10 minutes and although it is rocky (bring swimming shoes) you can easily get in and out of the sea. There are some caves that you can swim out to and through and it’s fantastic for snorkelling. Irene and Giuseppe live in the house next door but they are not intrusive at all. They are a lovely couple who made us feel so welcome and offered some great tips about where to eat out and what to go and see. We want to thank them again for their kindness and generosity. A car is necessary for this villa and then you can explore that South Eastern corner of beautiful Sicily. All in all we would high recommend this villa and would hope to return one day.
