A very comfortable stay in tranquil surroundings with lots to see in the surrounding area

The ease of booking and accessing the property, everything we needed was provided, the cottage was comfortable and clean and was a tranquil spot to retire to in the evenings. Wells and Glastonbury, which were the two places we wanted to visit, were very close.

Excellent countryside location for easy access to the Nature Reserves on the Avalon Marshes & Wells

Visited 2 of the famous nature reserves on the Avalon Marshes (Ham Wall & Westhay), both with good paths, very good birdlife and good hides. Also visited Wells for the Cathedral, Bishop's Palace & Gardens and the excellent market (Wednesday & Saturday).

Great place, very well equipped, fantastic time.

Accommodation extremely spacious and very well equipped. Spotlessly clean and a very good welcome pack. Carol, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful. Very good Sunday lunch at Ring o' Bells, plenty of places to visit.

Great relaxing environment and good location for visiting bird watching sites

We liked being away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to eating places and where we wanted to visit. The accommodation was well furnished and had everything we needed. Two recommendations - the fridge should be switched on prior to the guests arrival and a pedal bin in the kitchen for the waste.

A lovely cottage looked after by a lovely lady in a lovely location. Perfect getaway holiday place.

3 night extended weekend just what we were looking for, lovely touches such as a cream tea and hot chocolates waiting for us. Everything in every room was perfect. Wouldn't change a thing. Highly recommend you won't regret it!

Very comfortable from the moment we walked in

Attention to detail was welcoming to see, particularly liked the carefully the folded toilet roll! The treat in the fridge was a lovely little gift we enjoyed having for breakfast. The bed was so comfortable and soft sheets, had no problem with sleeping cosy. The dairy cottage we stayed in was very clean and couldn't really fault anything. Nice and quiet lovely surrounding fields. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you Carol 😁

Great accommodation with stunning views of the of the Mendip Hills

Just returned from a fantastic 9 night stay at Dairy Cottage. Great accommodation with stunning views of the of the Mendip Hills. Carol was very welcoming and helpful. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher (me not being able to find the fused switch on the wall, so my fault) but Carol came quickly to the rescue without a fuss. We will be booking again the next time we are in the area.

Fabulous accommodation and host, lovely area to be based for a long weekend

One of the most comfortable stays we have had anywhere in the UK. The cottage was well appointed with everything we could need, warm and cosy with a really comfortable bed. The scones, cream and jam were well received on our arrival. The shower was as good as we have at home which is such a treat when being away. Whilst we didn't meet Carol due to Covid we knew we were only a quick text or call away from her. We will be back!

Highly Recommended

Beautiful cottage, perfect for 2 people, in beautiful countryside. Couldn't have asked for anything more in the cottage which was so cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed, including a complimentary cream tea on arrival! Plenty to see and do in the local area - only a 10 mins drive from Wells and close to Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wookey Hole, etc. We very much hope to be back later in the year.

A wonderful getaway

We booked dairy cottage for a much needed long weekend break. A perfect place to spend a much needed break. Dairy cottage was wonderful, it had everything we could possibly need and more. A cream tea on arrival was a lovely bonus - the kitchen was well equipped, the lounge a perfect size for two with a super comfy sofa. The bed was nice and big and again, really comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. A nice seating area in the garden was the icing on the cake!

A lovely stay at Dairy Cottage, Beaconsfield Farm, Wells, Somerset.

We chose this location to be near Wells and Glastonbury and weren't disappointed in any way. Carol is a lovely, helpful, friendly lady. She left two small bottles of Prosecco in the fridge as a welcome gift, which was much appreciated. She compiled a list of eating places that went beyond just an address and phone number, giving details of local pubs and restaurants, what they were like, parking, and what they offered. Invaluable. Dairy Cottage is cosy and well appointed. We loved it.
