Lovely property with amazing views, the conservatory was perfect for drying our washing, and everything was spotlessly clean. Easy walking distance to town centre.
Good location, close to the centre but away from the bustle. Great view from the conservatory. Comfortable bed. Practical kitchen. Nice bathroom.Pretty garden.Had a great stay, perfect for 1person or couple. Host was professional and helpful. If I was to go to Glastinbury again I would rebook.

A lovely, cosy holiday flat with amazing views. A fantastic location within walking distance of Glastonbury's many attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay :-)
We stayed here as we were attending a festival at Shepton Mallet Showground, but didn't want to camp. The property was a lovely, relaxed place to stay, with amazing views. Would certainly recommend!
Excellent location, easy walk into Glastonbury. Ideally sutuated to visit what we wanted to in the area eg Wells, Bath, Cheddar Gorge and the coast.
Property was superb very clean with everything you would need and very friendly hosts.
We agree with all that has been said in previous reviews. An added plus is the fact we were here on a short winter break and the apartment was kept very cosy and warm.
Very good view, looking westward. You will need a car and should not choose this property if you have issues with your knees - lots of steps. We toured from here to Salisbury and Stonehenge and Bath. Nice spot to unwind at end of day.
Vanessa property was very peaceful. It had the most beautiful garden, with a lovely conservatory. Just a short stroll to town. Vanessa was a lovely, helpful woman
There was nothing missing. Utilities complete. Bed comfortable. Sofa bed in lounge was great.
We were fortunate.. showers of shooting stars fell across the sky fir 4 night visit 1st week January many colours. The apartment is 10 minute walk to town , the town has no franchise of clothes stores or coffee bars or cafes fantastic food. The host provided ground coffee and teas. Excellent holiday

Weekend stay
The property itself was neat, tidy and clean. Well equipped for basic needs. Weather unfortunately did not allow us to see the lovely sights however we knew they were there.
Only downside was steps leading down to the property. The sensor lights did not stay on and it was difficult to see in the dark while going down steep slippery steps. Handrail not easy to reach and one of our party fell due to poor lighting.
Other than this the property was a lovely find.
This is a charming and lovely property, easy walk to High Street with its many shops, restaurants, and other attractions. It’s a longer walk to the Chalice Well and the base of the Tor, but you can walk to High Street and catch a quick bus there. Our hosts were wonderful.
Eine wunderbare Unterkunft, unglaublich freundliche Vermieter ..liebevoll eingerichtet und der Ausblick - einfach grandios.
Eine Oase der Ruhe , wir wären gerne geblieben.
Danke dafür.
Private and spacious rooms, beautiful conservatory with stunning views. Ten minutes walk to town. Wonderful to have a washing machine. Friendly hosts, picked us up from the station and dropped us off at the airport for a small charge.
The photographs in the listing didn't do this property justice, it was so homely, clean and welcoming. Sure the steps up to the property tried my knees but it was worth it for such a magnificent view I would definitely book again. A gorgeous retreat away from the messed up world we live in.

About the host
Hosted by Vanessa Bicknell
We moved to Glastonbury in 2001 after selling our bookshop in Hampshire and bought the Flying Dragon Bed and Breakfast. In 2010 we converted the downstairs into a beautiful garden flat and renamed it the Flying Dragon's Nest and moved up into the bed and breakfast house ourselves.
Why they chose this property
We had been coming to Glastonbury for years as a place for rest and retreat, plus we love the Chalice Well Garden and climbing the Tor. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and we often walk in the Mendips and out on the Levels looking at the incredible bird wildlife.
What makes this property unique
We bought this particular house because of its fantastic views and its great potential to use as a rental property, As we face west we can often have incredible sunsets and light into the house. It is a very peaceful place to live, yet near everything that Glastonbury has to offer.
