Thank you! Lovely to read such great reviews. Hopefully w will see you another day :-)
My mum and father in law were delighted to have their own en-suite shower room and a downstairs room for my mum who is less mobile .
The house was toasty warm and very well kitted out (maybe a teapot could have been the cherry on the cake ?!) The welcome pack including scones , cream & jam was a nice touch too.
Great location for exploring Somerset .

About the host
Hosted by Host
Hello everyone,
We are a family-owned Bed and Breakfast with seasonal Tea Rooms situated in the heart of the Somerset Levels. Our establishment is small and friendly, and we take pride in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
My husband Steve and I have three young boys who are passionate about cricket. During the summer months, they can often be seen rushing off to training or a match in their cricket whites. I enjoy reading and spending a few moments in our beautiful garden during the summer.
Our family loves meeting new people, and we especially enjoy welcoming other families to stay with us. We guarantee that you will not leave Double-Gate with an empty stomach! Our breakfasts are quite popular, and our home-cooked meals and the Afternoon Tea, which is our speciality and is served in our Tea Rooms, are absolutely delicious.
When you arrive, we'll greet you with a cup of tea and some cake to sample. We kindly ask that you arrive by 6pm if you would like to enjoy this treat.
We can't wait to meet you!
Debbie and Family
