Beautiful and newly constructed in 2017, our two-story treetop cabin is a perfect up-north getaway. With an open floor plan, the main level features a great room/kitchen/living room and a fireplace for the chilly nights. The elevated porch offers treetop views of the woods and wildlife. This was the coziest “true” cabin. we enjoyed wine by the fireplace and coffee watching the snowfall. The beds were comfy. The perfect amount of space. Games and puzzles provided. Very clean. Will stay there again

We had a wonderful stay. The elevation of this cabin improved our views of the surrounding woodland. The architecture and build quality are excellent, making it a cozy getaway. Although temperatures outside hovered around zero, this cabin was comfortably warm at all times. The fireplace added to the ambiance. Our host was very responsive and even sent his maintenance guy by to check on the furnace room to ensure nothing would disrupt our visit during the Arctic-like weather. We cooked a lot of our meals during our stay and found the kitchen to be adequately stocked with cookware, seasonings, and dinnerware. Note, if you are a bit of a coffee snob, set your expectations appropriately; there is only a drip coffee maker (as the materials point out). We had some of the best sleep in months. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillow options and well-kept linens. The bedroom was quiet and dark. All-in-all, we were very happy with our stay.

We are the Stuhrs. We purchased the property from the neighboring Kochs in 2020. The property was built by the local builder, Wes Hanson. The property is nestled in 4 acres of woods that was given to the Koch children by their grandfather. The grandchildren built treehouse in the woods and those memories lived out years later in beautifully designed "treetop" cabins in the heart of Crosslake. We hope you enjoy the cabin as much as we do.
