Ghyll View is an excellent holiday property.
Ghyll View is an excellent holiday property. It has all the charm of an old stone cottage but has everything modern you would want. It's spotlessly clean and all the furnishings are pristine. The beds are really comfortable with white cotton bedding. Both bathrooms were spotless and had a luxury/spa feel. The wifi is good and the TV is signed up to Netflix and catch up channels. I particularly loved how all the things provided were top quality. The soap and handwash smelled beautiful and were clearly not basics. The coffee machine had Eco pods from the Eden Project. Paper bags and a Sigg tin were provided for walking lunches. And so much more. Having regularly stayed in Muker and enjoyed the walking there, I hadn't realised how much better the walking was from Gunnerside. We did wonderful, varied walks from the door every day. The small Yellow map provided was great and there were loads of other maps and guide books.
