We are in a very quiet small rural town (20 inhabitants) 75 minutes (by car) from Barcelona, ​​on top of a small hill surrounded by forests and fields, the houses have a garden, swimming pool, barbecue and living room. games.

Cal Farrés is an ideal space to rest with the family, walk or cycle and enjoy nature and country life.

A wonderful place to stay

A wonderful and peaceful location, close enough to Barcelona to keep everyone interested! Property manager lovely and very helpful. Pool was an absolute delight. Cannot recommend this getaway highly enough… Nearby town of Calaf met all requirements for supermarkets and restaurants. Just wish we could have stayed for longer

Justo lo que buscabamos

Buscabamos pasar un fin de semana tranquilos en familia y los niños disfrutar de la piscina. Eso es lo que hemos encontrado y la propietaria muy amable. La única pega es que a parte de nosotros nos parecieron las camas un poco duras.

Perfecta estancia en familia

Es una casa muy acogedora para pasar unos días en familia, tiene caminos para ir a andar en los alrededores y la zona es muy tranquila. Cuenta con una zona con mesa de pin pon y billar, está genial para pasar un rato divertido con tus amigos y familia. También cuenta con una piscina preciosa. Un merveilleux gîte où tout est présent pour votre détente et votre bien être. La maison est charmante et très bien adaptée pour les personnes que nous étions. La piscine n'est pas sur le terrain, mais vraiment très proche donc ça n'est pas grave. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et disponibles si besoin, merci à eux pour leurs "cigronet" (petits pois chiches), c'était très bon. Et merci aussi de nous avoir envoyé au resto Kedivi, leurs tapas étaient top!!!!! En résumé un endroit tranquille où aller se reposer et profiter de la piscine, détente assurée.

Aanrader! Mooie woning, fijn zwembad, aardige mensen, rustige omgeving

Wij verbleven 17 dagen in de woning La Farraya van Cal Farres, een van de twee woningen die Mireia aanbiedt, naast woning Les Corts. De foto's zijn verwarrend want ze worden door elkaar gebruikt. La Farraya is de grotere aan het grasveld met terras. Les Corts is met de trap. De 2 woningen delen het zwembad dat even verderop ligt en een speelruimte onder de woning Les Corts met o.a. biljart en tafeltennistafel. Het plaatsje Aleny lijkt haast uitgestorven. Er wonen ook nog maar weinig mensen. Dat maakt het ook bijzonder. De woning La Farraya heeft alles wat je maar kan wensen: 3 mooie slaapkamers met fijne bedden (7 personen), 2 badkamers, woonkamer met keuken. Keuken voorzien van koelkast, vriezers, vaatwasser, fornuis met oven, magnetron, etc. Samen met de andere woning wordt ook nog een ruimte gedeeld met een wasmachine en een droger. Het zwembad ligt naast de woning van de eigenaren en is heerlijk. Elke ochtend liggen er nieuwe handdoeken, er zijn voldoende ligstoelen en er zijn sanitaire voorzieningen (toilet en douche). Het zwembad, met zout water, heeft een overkapping maar deze staat eigenlijk altijd open. Paar km verderop ligt het dorp Calaf met 3 supermarkten en een paar restaurantjes. Erg lokaal, toeristen zijn ze niet zo veel gewend. We troffen er alleen maar aardige mensen, net zoals in Aleny. Aleny ligt haast in het midden van Catalonië. Iets meer dan een uurtje van Barcelona. Een prachtige omgeving, maar om iets te gaan bekijken moet je rekenen dat je een auto nodig hebt. Aanraders: Monastir de Montserrat en de bijzondere bergen, Rupit, Andorra (2uur rijden maar erg leuk), Costa Brava (idem), Zoutmijnen van Cardona (zeker een hoogtepunt!) met daarbij ook het kasteel. Dichterbij zijn er mooie wandelingen te maken in de omgeving van Aleny. Er zijn ook fietsen beschikbaar bij het huis, maar de staat daarvan is niet al te best. Als je 's avonds terug bent in het huis is het genieten van een prachtige zonsondergang. De ene nog mooier dan de andere. Is er dan helemaal niets aan te merken? Ja toch wel: vliegen. 's avonds buiten zitten is een strijd met deze beestjes. Ook bij het zwembad heb je er soms last van. Maar ja: het is een landelijk gebied. Het huis is voorzien van horren. Nog wel een tip voor de verhuurders: plaats ook horren bij de ramen van de badkamers zodat die ook open kunnen. Al met al: een perfect verblijf voor een mooie vakantie in een ander Spanje dan de costa's.

Estubimos en La Farraja de Cal Farrés, ¡super bien! La casa preciosa, comoda y limpia los niños se lo pasaron super en el jardín y jugando juegos que encontramos en la sala de juegos, los mayores nos pusimos las botas con la barbacoa compramos la carne en Calaf (un pueblo a 2 Km) exelente calidad y precio. lástima que un fin de semana sea tan corto, pero volveremos en verano para aprobechar la piscina. gracias Mireia y Miquel por vuestra hospitalidad
