Unfortunately, you are right that there were a few areas that weren't cleaned to a satisfactory standard. I think you would agree that we rectified this very quickly to your satisfaction at the time and no further complaints were forthcoming. It was clear you were still not happy with your choice of holiday accommodation and that neither you nor your friend wanted to be there from the start. With this in mind, we appreciate this because sometimes people do not research the house or it's locality and this can happen. A country house is a house in the country - secluded but not isolated. However, we compensated you for this yet you still have given us a bad review. Your comment regarding the photos of the house is quite frankly, hypocritical. When we met you, even though you had issues, you assured us that the house was lovely. Just to clarify, the photos were taken by Ruralidays, only a few months before your stay. We apologised at the time and apologise again now.
