Comfy ground-floor masonette in a handy location just outside the walls of Canterbury. It was clean and well appointed with the all-important parking space, as it is a premium in the narrow roads outside. Fans are provided but it is quite warm in the summer. Overall a well presented property I am happy to recommend.
The property is excellently positioned for a short walk in to Canterbury City Centre.Having parking at the property really means the car can become obsolete during your stay. I would not hesitate to use again if we’re visiting the area.
We stayed here for 3 nights while walking the last part of the North Downs Way, so the apartment provided a good central base. In the evenings we were able to walk into the city centre where there was a good choice of restaurants. The apartment was immaculately clean and well provisioned. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

Thank you David, I'm really glad to hear you had an enjoyable stay here in Canterbury.
Really enjoyed this Canterbury spot. Walkable to the city center, with nice restaurants and convenience store close by. Off street parking was also a plus. Flat was nicely appointed and comfortable. Dom was very responsive and gave us good suggestions.
Very big place, great location, able to walk everywhere! There wasn’t a tv for at night in the room but that was okay. WiFi works great. And I hated to leave!

Thank you so much Megan, glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. yes better to enjoy the city and have a quality time so that's why there is no TV :) Do stay again.
Great location to walk to everything within the city. Only lacking microwave, but oven worked well as alternative. ALDI grocery store 0.5 miles away. Shower with latest updated features. having a washer/dryer was extra bonus!
The best thing about the accomodation is the location along with the parking. The kitchen is well kitted out, although I'm not sure about leaving opened jars of food in the cupboards , who knows when they were opened. ?The bed whilst quite comfortable did make a few noises when moving about not one for a honeymoon couple !Finally while a TV in the bedroom is normal these days I personally would have liked there to be one in the kitchen/sitting area. There's room for one facing the sofa. All in all a pleasant stay, thank you
Dom's flat is perfect. The flat is in a quiet area, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and just a short walk is an Aldi. The bed is comfortable and the shower has some of the best water pressure of anyplace in England I have stayed. Dom was quick to respond to any inquires and was a perfect host. I wish my stay was longer as the area has so much to offer and the flat is in a perfect location near the East train station, the old city walls and most of Cantebury's attractions.
A wonderful apartment, exactly as described, the photos do not do it justice. The perfect place to have a rest, unwind and enjoy the sights of Canterbury and surrounds. The property is in an excellent location, just a short walk to Canterbury City Centre. The provision of a washer/dryer was an extra bonus! Having parking at the property was wonderful as it allowed us to park the car and walk most of the time. I would not hesitate to use it again if we’re visiting the area.

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
I appreciated the closeness of this property to the city centre, making it very convenient. The parking was invaluable as the area was very busy. We walked a lot though. The property was clean and tidy with excellent equipment levels. We didn’t realise however that there was no TV or radio, although the internet was excellent.
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting our daughter who was attending university in Canterbury. Everything was great. Fully equipped with everything we could think of, easy to use (nothing weird that we had to figure out ;-), and the bedroom was charmingly decorated. The location is a bit out of the city centre, so we got our steps in, but part of the walk into the centre was along a historical wall, so that was fun. The host, Dom, was quick to assist with my questions.
The property was ok and about a 10/15 minute walk into Canterbury. If we’re being honest we didn’t really like the area of the property but that may be because we’re not used to a bedroom being right on a street. Please note that this is our personal preference and the situation might not bother others. The bed was a king size and comfortable. We can’t comment on the kitchen appliances as we didn’t do any cooking during our stay!
Comfortable sunny apartment close to town and rail system
The combined kitchen/dining area and the single king bedroom worked perfect for our stay. We walked with our luggage from the close by East Canterbury rail station. Walking into/around town to see the cathedral, roman ruins and abbey was easy. Dom was an outstanding host, answered all our questions and gave us some great resturant recommendations. We enjoyed meals at Posillipo Italian, Cafe Des Ami and the Good Shed. It was easy to do laundry and the kitchen was supplied with what we needed. There was a light sensor for the door when we got back late so we could see to enter. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we return.
We had a great time in Canterbury. Lovely town and lot´s to explore. Appartment was right in the middle of town 10 minutes walk into the center. Bright and clean and equiped with all necessities. Dom was always available when you had a question or needed information. All in all we had a great time.
Was very clean and well-stocked. Check-in process was clear and easy. Online listing was accurate to the property. Manager was very responsive and gave great information. Location was excellent – quiet part of town, but roughly a15-minute walk from all the major attractions, downtown areas, and the bus / train stations. Five stars across the board. Will definitely look into staying here again when I return to Canterbury!
Loved my stay, could walk everywhere I wanted to tour in Canterbury :-)

Why they chose this property
- Romantic for couples, also great for remote workers, tourists and traveling professionals. - Central location in this historic beautiful city. - A short 10min walk to the famous Cathedral and the city centre. - Parking available too. - Fully furnished with all essentials. - Fairly quiet and isolated from the city noise. - Great balance between the Kent countryside and city walks. - Only a 5 min walk to the the famous Great River Stour and Westgate Parks (Kent Countryside) from there you can enjoy a peaceful walk by this river all the way to the village Chartham. You may see some surprising animals along the way too. - Close to everything this city has to offer and I highly recommend exploring by foot. - For you to enjoy your time in this city anyway you like and for any occasion.
What makes this property unique
Unique benefit is that there is a corner town shop (30 secs walk!) to get anything essential you may need without causing inconvenience. What I love about the property personally is that it has everything you need, it is so wonderfully close to the attractions and very peaceful too.
