Luxury Country Cottage with Access to Swimming Pool

Overlooking countryside and a tranquil pond (unfenced) this beautifully converted stable is situated behind a traditional Kent barn. It has been tastefully renovated and refurnished and retains some original character features. Heron Cottage has its own patio area with garden furniture. 36ft swimming pool, heated from May until September (exact opening date weather dependent). The cottage offers free Wifi. Although babies up to 6 months old are permitted, there is unfortunately a minimum age limit of 18 at this property.

Heron Cottage comprises of a beautifully beamed sitting room with double glazed French windows overlooking the pond and its own patio, a sofa, digital TV with Netflix, radio and electric heating. There is a separate well equipped kitchen, shower room and a bedroom with a kingsize double – a large storage closet is in the hall way. The patio window leads to a private terrace, including garden furniture, which overlooks the pond and the surrounding countryside. A shared washing machine and dryer are available.

Great holiday

We stayed in Heron cottage, our friends were in Mallard cottage. Both were very well furnished and decorate and immaculately clean. We had a vey comfortable stay, we loved the garden, pond and the immediate surroundings

Comfortable and Tranquil

The hosts were very welcoming, gave a full tour and made themselves available for issues through the stay. Heron cottage was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The location is quiet, with lots of access to country footpaths, but close enough to a larger town for essentials. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there, relaxing and unwinding, and would definitely want to book another stay

Ransley Barn cottages haven

We stayed 3.5 weeks and were really impressed with the cleanliness, the layout and the wonderful bed! Kate and Peter are kind and considerate hosts- easy to talk to and generous. There is off road parking, and a lovely garden that is so peaceful. Also to the rear of the cottages you can walk through a church graveyard with resident squirrels- that takes you through close to the village green, and the local pub which is excellent. Everyone was very friendly. The cottage had a well equipped kitchen, the lounge/ dining is plenty big enough for 2 people, and there is wifi- it was a bit dodgy on a couple of occasions, but a quick phone call to Kate, and they rebooted the system, so no major dramas. It is so quiet here too First rate accommodation- and very reasonably priced

Heron cottage high halden

The cottage we rented was of the highest quality it was clear no expense was spared on fixtures and fittings the cottage was clean and very comfortable the kitchen was very usable with most mod cons The shower was excellent and so was the rest of the toilet Outside there was an extensive private garden with our own patio great for lunch in the sun I would absolutely recommend this property and the hosts without any hesitation

Heron Cottage

Excellent property, everything was as advertised and we found it both comfortable and with a nice private garden very relaxing . Hosts were very helpful and location was good to access all local attractions within 30-40 minutes by car. Well worth a visit.
