Gut Heistert ist ein ehemaliges Hotel, dessen Einrichtungen noch intakt sind (z. B. Bar/Restaurant, Frühstücks- und Spielzimmer mit Billardtisch, voll ausgestattete Industrieküche und Sauna). 8 Schlafzimmer, alle mit eigenem Bad. Die Aufteilung der Unterkünfte mit unterschiedlichen Räumen macht es ganz einfach, etwas Ruhe zu finden, während andere eher "aktiv" sind :-) Wir waren im Februar 2023 auf Gut Heistert und hatten eine fantastische Zeit. Sehr ruhige Lage, Supermarkt und Bäcker sind in 5 Autominuten erreichbar. Aufgrund der Jahreszeit haben wir die Außenanlagen nicht sehr oft genutzt, aber es gibt viel Platz! Schöne Wanderwege für alle vom Kleinkind bis zum eingefleischten Wanderer beginnen direkt vor der Haustür. Die Familie Janssen ist sehr gastfreundlich und zugänglich und löst Probleme sehr schnell, wenn sie während des Aufenthalts auftreten sollten. In unserem Fall hatten die Vormieter den Fußtisch (Kicker) beschädigt und außer Betrieb gesetzt. Ein neuer wurde gefunden und ein paar Tage später geliefert. Guter Service! Das Haus war sehr sauber! Sollte sich in Zukunft noch einmal die Gelegenheit ergeben, einen Urlaub mit einer ähnlichen Gruppe zu organisieren, käme Gut Heistert auf jeden Fall in die engere Wahl.

Sehr schön gelegenes Haus, absolut ruhige Umgebung. Außerhalb gelegen, deshalb für alle Besorgungen Auto notwendig. Spaziergänge durch Feld/Wiesenlandschaft direkt vom Haus aus möglich. Den gepflegten Garten mit Grillplatz konnten wir wettertechnisch nicht nutzen, ist im Sommer aber bestimmt sehr schön.

Een erg net vakantiehuis met vriendelijk ontvangst. Alles was netjes, het enige wat erg vervelend was, waren de vele vliegen in het huis. We moesten om 1000 uit het huis zijn, maar de eigenaar stond samen met wat anderen al om 915 bij huis om alles te controleren. Dit kwam helaas erg gehaast over.

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in dit vakantiehuis in Monschau! De woning was ruim en onze kamer bood plaats aan ons allemaal, zonder dat het benauwd aanvoelde. Ik vond het geweldig dat er een sauna was om in te ontspannen na onze wandelingen in het nabijgelegen nationale park. De keuken had alles wat we nodig hadden om te koken en we hebben zelfs een avond kunnen barbecueën. Het enige nadeel was dat de wifi een beetje haperde, maar eerlijk gezegd waren we te druk bezig met genieten van de natuur om er veel om te geven. We komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Wat een fantastische vakantie! Het huis was ongelooflijk ruim en perfect voor onze grote groep. We genoten van de sauna na een lange dag wandelen in het nabijgelegen Nationaal Park Eifel. De kinderen vermaakten zich op de trampoline en de tuin was heerlijk voor avondbarbecues.

Schönes altes Gasthaus einsam gelegen am Waldrand. Im Erdgeschoß ein großes Schlafzimmer und großer Wohn-/Essraum und Gastronomieküche mit reichlich Geschirr, Töpfen, Pfannen etc. Im Obergeschoß 7 eher kleine Schlafräume, alle mit Bad/WC/Dusche. Im Keller Gaststättenraum mit 6 festen Gastinseln, Bar und Kicker. Hinter dem Haus kleiner Spielplatz, kleiner Bolzplatz und gepflasterer Hof. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Sehr gut mit kleinen Kindern. Das Haus ist nicht hellhörig. Achtung bei Kleinkindern: Babyphone Empfang reicht z.T. nicht vom Schlafzimmer bis in den Wohnraum: "Verlängerung" mit zweitem Babyphone sinnvoll! Wir (10 Erwachsene, 6 Kleinkinder und Hund) haben unter Coronabedingungen eine schöne Urlaubswoche in Selbstisolation verbracht :-)
