Villa Palacio and Yurts – a private luxury villa set on the mountainside of Tabayesco with uninterrupted views out to sea on the North East coast of Lanzarote. The Palacio Estate features three separate accommodations, in one.
The Villa Palacio consists of 6 bedrooms followed by 3 x Palacio Yurts (Changing to 1 yurt from July 2024) and the Garden Bedroom, making a grand total of 10 bedrooms (Changing to 8 bedrooms from July 2024). Situated on the outskirts of the tranquil village of Tabayesco, just minutes away from the quaint little village of Arrieta with its fabulous golden sand coastline known as ‘Arrieta Bay’. This strikingly modern ‘home from home’ villa offers breath-taking panoramic views of Arrieta’s coastline and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.

From the minute you step inside this spacious light and airy villa the tone is set for the rest of your stay. Its open-plan interior design and attention to fine detail make this property stand out like no other. Villa Palacio is nothing short of spectacular. Its sea, pool and garden views from almost every angle on the ground floor make this villa similar to something seen only in magazines. The entrance of the house leads you into the heart of the home, the kitchen. A generous stylishly finished kitchen fully equipped with everything you could ever need. Its vast open-plan seating area and striking views out to sea make this a great area for getting together with family and friends. Following through……we reach the raised lounge area which is a great space to unwind and relax and overlooks the lower dining area with its amazing views down to the pool and ocean. On the same level, there are two stylishly decorated bedrooms complete with king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. Both perfectly serene, an inviting space in which to relax and unwind after another glorious, sun-filled day.

Moving on up to the next level via an impressive sweeping staircase with LED Mood-lighting there are two further beautiful bedrooms one with a king-size bed and views to its private terrace, a built-in wardrobe and wash hand basins. The second bedroom has twin beds with a marble style bath where you can soak away and enjoy the sea views. Both these bedrooms share a walk-in shower room with double wash hand basins and W.C. Continuing up the sweeping staircase you enter the 5th bedroom with twin beds, built-in wardrobe, free-standing marble style bath, double wash hand basins and separate W.C. This south-facing bedroom has sliding doors to its large terrace and shaded Balinese thatched day bed’ a perfect place to relax and take in a glorious sunset.

The luxurious Master bedroom is on the upper-level floor, its contemporary influence of natural materials come together to create a unique and enticing indoor space. With its rugged volcanic landscapes and fantastic coastal views, this bedroom is the ‘Master’ of masters. This spacious suite is equipped with a Super king-size bed and free-standing stone bath perfect for having a relaxing soak while admiring the sea views. The suite has a separate walk-in shower room, including double wash hand basins, bidet and W.C.

The large and spacious outdoor living areas provide lots of space for groups to enjoy time together and at the same time many options to escape and relax privately.

The solar-heated swimming pool (4 x 10 m) is perfect to power through some laps if you love swimming. For fun and games enjoy the villas outdoor pool table, ping pong table and shaded terrace area. Enjoy the mature gardens and dining in the gazebo on those warm summer evenings. Chill out area with thatched gazebo and day bed area with plenty of decking area to relax.

The Palacio Yurt area is accessed by a sweeping staircase that leads you to the lower level of the Palacio grounds. Here are the further four bedrooms, three of which are luxurious 6-metre genuine Mongolian Yurts alongside the Garden en-suite Bedroom. The Garden bedroom sits snugly under the upper decked area, has great sea views from its private terrace. This open plan room offers a king-size double bed, walk-in shower and WC.

The three Palacio bedroom Yurts are uniquely styled, feature a red felt interior, polished concrete and tiled flooring, two seating areas with sofas and handpicked Indonesian furniture. The polished/tiled floor and traditional two-skin cover keep the yurts draft-free and ensure a constant ambient temperature. A central skylight allows ventilation as well as romantic star-gazing. The Palacio Yurts boast the most magnificent views down to the ocean and Arrieta’s golden sand beach. Each private yurt has its own walk-in shower room with a stone washbasin and a separate W.C. These facilities are nestled behind the yurt and fashioned from local volcanic stone. The three yurts are divided into two areas, one is stand-alone with a super king bed and a single bed and the other two are set 15 meters from each other and both have twin beds. Alongside the stand-alone yurt is its alfresco living area fully fitted 2nd kitchen with granite worktops, breakfast bar, just perfect for a self-catering holiday. The further two yurts set at a lower level share a lounge area with 3rd kitchen that leads onto each yurts private shower/W.C rooms.

Relax and enjoy the sea and mountain views from your garden and terrace, complete with sun-loungers, barbecue and outdoor furniture for ‘Alfresco’ dining.

Between the yurt areas is the fenced and gated private solar heated plunge pool with spa jets alongside the shaded gazebo and double daybed. The Garden Bedroom or second bedroom is open plan with a double bed, sea views, en-suite shower and W.C. The room offers stunning views to the sea and to the shaded terrace area outside.

At the Palacio estate, it’s all about relaxation. Whether you are enjoying the views from your sun lounger or having a soak in the hot tub………. With its unspoilt views and Canarian climate, relaxing is not difficult.

Guests with children should be aware that the pool is easily accessible from the terrace so please be aware of the safety of children and non-swimmers, although a pool fence/gate can be provided. Please ask for more information if considering booking with a young child.
Parties and special events (such as product launches, film shoots, events requiring outside suppliers and caterers, private parties and any booking not classified as a standard holiday booking) will require a security deposit against damage and costs attributable to non-compliance with house rules.
The Palacio Estate is vast… a 10,000m2 land plot comprising of the main house, gardens, 2 pools + hot tub, multiple chill-out areas, games areas, 3 x private yurts, on and on. The size of Palacio means we often prefer staff to be on the grounds as extra support for your event, group or family celebration. Our manager has a staff apartment with a separate entrance and will be based there from time to time, unobtrusive but close by, ensuring your Palacio stay is exactly as it should be… luxurious perfection!
