Why not Glamp in style camp in one of our beautiful, high-spec Glamping Pods or the Shepherd's Hut.. Perfect for exploring The Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford and Warwick.

The Glamping Pods tucked behind the pub are a stone's throw from some of the finest Cotswold countryside around. Each pod has an en-suite with shower, kitchenette, heating, air conditioning, WiFi and flat screen TV's. As well as all the bedding, towels and crockery that you need.

Guests visiting The Norman Knight pub can enjoy fine ales, lunches and dinners (booking essential) with a stunning view of the village green and Whichford Hill beyond. With its Cotswold stone interior, oak beams and flagstones, as well as two log burners for the cooler months, the pub is full of character and old world charm. The atmosphere is always relaxed and the staff warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable to help you plan your break.

The creative, seasonal menu is made from locally sourced, fresh ingredients. Our chef's dishes range from traditional english through to dishes with a multicultural twist, as well as an incredible selection of fish and seafood dishes.

The Norman Knight also has a well-earned reputation as a drinking destination. It offers a great selection of hand-pulled guest ales and ciders alongside popular permanent residents Hooky, Prescott Hill Climb, Norman Knight from Goffs Brewery and local cider, Grumpy Frog from Ilmington. It features in the CAMRA Good Pub Guide 2019 and is a previous regional pub of the year winner twice over.

There are wonderful walks on the doorstep, including the Macmillan Way which passes through the adjacent Whichford Woods.

We are a quintessentially traditional english pub. All our staff, led by Land Lady Amber and supported by Helen and along with the rest of the team are local and have first hand knowledge of the area. Our village neigbours love telling stories to our residents and there is always a warm welcome. Its never too much trouble if you need anything and can happily recommend local things to do and places to enjoy. Its your break, so whether you want to chill at the bar or be left to enjoy a quiet meal in a cosy corner, its your choice. Tips for the pods are make up your bed before heading to the pub, enjoy the surroundings, we have plenty of deckchairs and outdoor seating, relax and take time out from the real world. We've even been asked to tell the little ones there is no WiFi so you can really go back to basics with family time and a good old board game. We look forward to meeting you on your stay with us.
