It is worth noting that Cardigan Bay is one of only two places in the uk with resident dolphins.
A little further along, past the lifeboat station and the sailing school is the bigger Cei Bach beach. All are rated as Blue flag beaches for water quality. There are boat trips available from the harbour to explore the Marine Heritage Coast and spot the dolphins even in the winter time, weather permitting. Watersports such as sailing, windsurfing, paddle boarding and power boating are available from the beach.
Fishing is another popular pastime, with the chance to catch sea bass, crab and lobster.
