This house is a typical Portuguese restored rural house in a very quiet place. The house consists of 3 bedrooms, two double rooms with private bathroom and a bunk room ideal for children. There is also a separate toilet inside the house and another outside. The house can receive a maximum of 6 people. The south facing front of the house offers a large sun terrace with a large private pool (9m x 4.5m) and a BBQ. overlooking the countryside.

Property is beautiful, spotlessly clean. Marie-Claire was charming and a great host. A family bereavement meant we had to cut our stay short.

The property was in a quiet rural location, a good place for someone to escape the stresses of "the city". The property is below street level so there is only a view from the rear of the property (where the swimming pool is), but this is a very pleasant view of the surrounding valley. There are neighbouring properties, but I can confirm these do not overlook the property or the swimming pool. Note however that there is the potential to be "underlooked" on the balcony by the pool if the couple next door who use the adjoinining land happening to be grazing their goats. We didn't find this an issue though. You can hear the goats making sounds during the day but for us this added to the rustic charm of the place. The property is very clean and has two showers and multiple toilets. The property owner Marie-Claire is a lovely woman and greets you on arrival to give you a guided tour. She is contactable by phone / WhatsApp in case any issues arise, not that they did during our stay. There are ample sun loungers and chairs and also an outdoor dining and barbeque area. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again. Thank you Marie-Claire for a pleasant stay.

Peaceful surroundings

Property is comfortable and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the awnings. Double bedrooms are smallish. BBQ was a challenge. The pool does need a handrail to assist in getting in and out unless you are quite agile.

Très beau séjour

Séjour en famille. Maison très agréable avec sa belle piscine et un cadre calme, reposant. Il faut absolument avoir un moyen de locomotion car le bien est situé à une vingtaine de minutes de la ville (Faro). Nous avons passé une belle semaine. Merci.

Logement et extérieurs conformes aux photos. Piscine au top, logement au calme avec jolie vue et sans aucun vis à vis. Très bon accueil de notre hôte. Bref, nous n’hésiterons pas à y revenir et conseillons ce logement.

The villa had everything we needed, including a lovely welcome pack from Marie-Clare. The only negative for us was the need for a handrail for easy pool access would have been good.

Perfect for a peaceful and chilled holiday

Met by the host and she could not have been more accommodating. We were delayed by an hour and a half and it was no problem for her. Great WiFi connection (important for my children!) Villa was comfortable, clean, showers worked well. Pool was lush. We hired a car which would definitely recommend. Went on a boat trip from alberferia (use the underground carpark to access the marina). My boys enjoyed krazy world. We didn't go out to eat and I couldn't see anything in walking distance where you would go to eat out. Supermarket was 10k away (Aldi or cominte - equivalent to Asda). Would recommend

lovely private property with large pool

Really nice property with lovely pool, very private and in a rural position. The villa had everything we needed and wasnt too far from faro or the beaches/villages on the algarve. The only down side was it took over an hour to find it! Do not try to find it using google maps as it puts it in a different location over a mile away down a dirt track. I found it by asking in the village. Would definitely come back, really lovely peaceful break away to recharge batteries!
