Excellent place with a little room for improvement

The house is very clean, the reception has been excellent (but only in Portuguese). The equipment is complete (except for a second parasol) and functioning, but a bit worn down. The design is ok, basic. The environment is peaceful, agricultural; shopping facilities are nearby (15 min by car). The beach has been too far away for us going there every day. Some nice towns around (especially Loulé).

Really peaceful relaxing time.

The villa was perfect for us. We take elderly parents away with us, therefore the villa being on one level is ideal. The villa is well appointed with all modern amenities, clean and spacious with good seating areas inside and outside. The pool was situated in the garden area and was not overlooked and remained very clean. A car is essential as it makes Sao Bras, Taveria and the surrounding towns and restaurants easily accessible. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday this villa is perfect.

Excellent Villa, Quiet Location

We have just stayed at the villa for 10 days. Booking and communication was quick and straight forward. The villa and contents are better than described. Very clean and spacious. The outside areas and garden were one of the largest areas we have had when hiring a villa. Plenty of seating areas and options when spending time outside. Being inland and a more rural setting the area was very peaceful and relaxing. We even spotted a Bonelli's Eagle . Good internet, good parking. Cecilia and her husband were very welcoming. Thank you. Très jolie maison, spacieuse, calme, bel équipement complet, literie confortable, belle propriété, belle piscine, vraiment très agréable. Seuls petits points noirs: très difficile à trouver même avec GPS car la maison est éloignée du village et n'a pas de numéro, et la dame en charge des clés ne parle que le portugais!. Pas de réseau téléphonique mais bien le wifi. Et l'on pourrait prévoir le minimum genre savon pour le lave-vaisselle, sel, poivre. Mais tout est parfait à part cela.

Belles vacances en famille au calme

Propriété bien tenue et propre, avec tout le nécessaire pour passer de bonnes vacances. Très pratique même à 6 personnes, avec 3 chambres et 3 salles de bain. Seul petit hic: la personne qui acceuille qui parle exclusivement portuguais, ce qui lilite fortement la communication.

Casa agradável, proprietários com muitas regras

A casa é excelente, ideal para quem tiver crianças e quiser mesmo relaxar, está no meio do nada, há muito silencio. Fica um pouco longe das praias. Ficamos apenas um pouco incomodados com os recados que íamos recebendo dos proprietários, apresentaram-nos imensas regras, que nos fizeram sentir estar numa casa emprestada e não numa casa alugada. As regras não apareciam quando alugamos, caso contrario não iriamos para lá. Todos os anos alugamos casa no algarve e nunca nos aconteceu isto. Ou porque tínhamos de lavar bem antes de ir a piscina por causa do protetor solar, tínhamos de fechar o guarda sol, e outras regras evitáveis...foram lá 3 vezes e 3 vezes levamos recados, se falássemos inglês, certamente seria diferente...e no final a chamada de atenção do uso da churrasqueira que ficou com cinza e devíamos limpar era evitável, deixamos a casa impecável, loiça lavada e tudo arrumado. Internet muito fraca e rede de telemóvel também fraco. Não voltamos lá concerteza.

The landlord gives advices and infos at the arrival and asks for cooperation of the client concerning the maintenance of the object during his stay in order to avoid for example the need for strong chemicals in the pool. Those advices base sometimes on the behaviour of prior clients. We can assure you that the landlord makes no differences between nationalities. In case of Portuguese clients communication is just easier, but not different. The cell phone network cannot be changed as it is outside of our sphere of influence. The internet connection has been improved and is much stronger now.

Super semaine de vacances

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans cette maison. Tout le confort s’y trouve et la piscine est top. Cuisine équipée, 2 terrasses à l’ombre pour déjeuner, espace pour garer véhicule sur la propriété. Rien à redire, la maison est située dans les terres donc il y fait plus chaud que sur la côte mais la maison dispose de la climatisation dans toutes les pièces ! Idéale pour une famille, la maison est de plain-pied. Une petite remarque à faire, il faudrait plus de transats (il y en a 4 pour 6) et plus de parasols (il y en a qu’un). A recommander !

Fijn huis

Het is een fijn huis om vakantie te vieren. Eigenaren spreken geen Engels, maar zijn erg vriendelijk, een probleem met het toilet werd snel opgelost. Ze respecteren de privacy van gasten heel goed. Internet valt geregeld even weg, buiten is het bereik matig tot niet. Bedden zijn prima. Helaas hebben veel buur-percelen honden die s'-nachts veel en lang blaffen. Het duurt een paar nachten voor dat het went. Met de deuren dicht hoor je ze minder. Al met al kan ik dit huis zeker aanbevelen!

Schönes Haus und ruhige Lage

Grundsätzliche ein schönes Haus und neu renoviert. An der Sauberkeit kann noch gearbeitet werden. WLAN Empfang war leider nur schlecht möglich, obwohl in der Beschreibung angegeben. Zufahrt und Garten gut gestaltet.

Vielen Dank für Ihren Kommentar. Der Vermieter hat den mobilen Router durch Wifi über Satellit ersetzt, so dass nun mit einem besseren Wlan gerechnet werden kann.

Rustige en goede vakantiewoning

Een prima woning met voldoende ruimte en grote tuin. De wifi is matig cq slecht (G4 wifi router) met slecht bereik vanwege hoogspanning in de buurt. Veel privacy, heerlijk rondom het zwembad zitten. Ligt wat achteraf, maar daardoor erg rustig. Zeker aan te bevelen. Badkamer apparatuur was aan vervanging toe (verkalkte douchekoppen)Goed startpunt voor uitstapjes. Ligt lekker centraal.

Super abgeschlossenes Gelände, Kind konnte unbeaufsichtigt gelassen werden. Sehr entspannt für die Eltern.Fliegengitter wären super, leider nicht vorhanden.Großer Sonnenschirm am Pool fehlt. Reisetipps: Sehr abgelegen, aber 2 Supermärkte in ca. 10 Minuten (Auto) zu erreichen (Lidl und Intermarché).Ausflugsziele gut zu erreichen (Auto).Keine Restaurants in der Nähe.

Soweit alles ok, schönes gepflegtes Objekt, aber: Internet ist in der Beschreibung drin, die Besitzerin kassierte vor Ort nochmal zusätzlich 20 €. Außerdem: Bei uns ging ein Türschloß kaputt, einfach beim auf– und zuschließen, dafür bekamen wir ebenfalls20 € abgezogen. Die Leutchen sind ansonsten ganz nett, der Rotwein aus dem Minimercado empfehlenswert (Monte verde oder so ähnlich). In der Nähe gibt es ein sehr gutes österreichisch geführtes Restaurant!

Sehr schönes Haus!

Die Villa liegt etwas außerhalb, ist aber gut zu erreichen. Ein sehr schönes Anwesen mit herrlichem Garten. Die Betreuung vor Ort war super. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der näheren Umgebung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.👍
