Richmond Place is very conveniently located for Edinburgh’s Old Town, just a short walk from the Cowgate and the Royal Mile, and ideally located for those wishing to make the most of their time in Edinburgh as most of the major attractions are very close by. For those visiting during the Edinburgh Festival the apartment is very close to the Pleasance and the Festival Theatre which host a large number of productions as well as being very convenient for those visiting the University of Edinburgh. The lively area round Nicolson Street offers a range of local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants including the renowned Mosque Kitchen. The delights of Holyrood Park are a few minutes away and the energetic can be at the top of Arthur’s Seat in 20 minutes to drink in the marvellous views over the city.
This ground floor apartment with stylish dark laminate flooring throughout sleeps up to 4 people in two bedrooms. The sitting/dining room, which has a kitchen off, has windows on three sides of the room thus making the most of natural light during the day. Furnished with a comfortable sofa bed and armchair there is seating for 4 people grouped round a glass coffee table. There is a TV with DVD Player and a selection of DVD’s and books for leisure moments. The apartment offers guests the convenience of Wi-Fi.
Please note that the sofa bed is provided in order give maximum flexibility of sleeping arrangements and we cannot accommodate more than 4 guests in this apartment.
The newly installed galley kitchen has views over communal rear gardens and play area. This is equipped with oven and hob, washing machine, microwave and a good selection of crockery cutlery and cookware.
There are two simple but comfortable bedrooms – a double bedroom quietly located to the rear of the property and a twin bedroom situated at the front of the property. Both bedrooms have drawer and hanging space.
A recently tiled bathroom has a bath with shower over, wash hand basin and WC.
This property doesn't come with free parking but there is limited paid street parking in the local area for an additional fee.

We had a great stay at this wonderful flat. It was very clean, well equipped, and very close to all the sites to see on Edinburgh. It was so convenient to get out the door and a mere five minute walk to downtown. This place was great!
Cosy and warm apartment in a fantastic location, really close to public transport, shops and a lovely cafe just around the corner. Had everything we needed (except perhaps a hair and clothes dryer). Would definitely stay again.

This flat was a great location within walking access to a lot of great attractions in Edinburgh! The flat was clean and worked out great! Would stay again!
Excellent location, a short walking distance from the castle. Very clean, a very well stocked kitchen. The area is quite, although restaurants and cafes abound nearby. We highly recommend this rental
This property was well taken care of and had a nice living room where we relaxed at the end of the day before bed. The area was quiet and safe and we were able to walk to grocery stores, pubs, and restaurants.
Plain little flat with everything we needed. Good value but a bit small/ tight for 4 adults. Perfect for a couple with small children or 3 adults. In a perfect location minutes from the royal mile and everything you could want in the immediate neighborhood
Flat is located in a great location. It’s a quiet area just around the block from great restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. The space comfortably fit my family of 4. Plenty of amenities to meet our needs.
Property was very large with a nice center courtyard. Easy to jump on the underground and a straight shot from Heathrow.

Beautiful 2 bedroom flat walking distance to the Royal Mile. Situated on a quiet street with plenty of pubs, cafes, restaurants and grocery stores just blocks away. Ideal location for an Edinburgh vacation.

Situated perfectly close to the city center, this apartment has everything required for four people, including a well-equipped kitchen.
Minor technical problems were resolved rapidly.
Fantastic location! The apartment is crowded, especially the double bedroom. Bed was ok. The apartment wasn’t appropriately cleaned, with leftover scrunchies and q-tips on the floor.
needs an owner's touch - chair legs stuck out so everyone was always tripping, the one semi upholstered chair very worn, big blob of dirt/dust in bathroom. Location was great. Walls very thin but no one was loud. beds were fine

The apartment was clean, quiet and convenient. The neighborhood was just OK. The recommended Richmond Cafe around the corner was very much appreciated. We enjoyed meeting some of the locals there. The apartments’s shares back garden would be a very nice feature to access if that were possible. During our stay it was overgrown and blocked off. The view of the dumpsters wasn’t great but it sure was convenient when we left.

Apartment is in a great location but is quite tired and needs a bit of updating. No storage in the double bedroom except two small bedside cabinets which are tiny. Had to hang stuff in the twin room. Ironing board but no iron? And the fridge was very variable in temperature with the freezer compartment not keeping the ice cream I bought frozen. For the first 24 hours we had absolutely no WiFi which was quite problematic for us as both my husband and son had work to do. We had to use a local cafe. This was sorted by the agency but some of their tone regarding fixing it was a bit off hand. For example reminding me that the WiFi is a complimentary service? That’s a bit like saying the hot water is a complimentary service really. Anyway overall the apartment served its purpose but definitely felt expensive for the experience. If it hadn’t have been for the location which was its saving grace.

Excellent location! Ideal for the Fringe-goer -- so central to most major venues. Phenomenal communication when a couple members of our group fell ill and we reached out for a potential extension. Already plan to book this spot for our next trip. Extremely spacious. Truly loved this property & Edinburgh Holiday Accommodations! P.S. Payment goes through the EHA third-party company -- so our strategic attempts to book when the British Pound was weak to save money were foiled when we weren't actually charged until many months later -- my singular complaint was that I wish VRBO had explained this in the listing.

Das Apartment ist liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es liegt zentral und es ist dennoch in der Nacht relativ ruhig. Die Betreiberin war hilfsbereit und gut zu erreichen. Allerdings benötigt das Apartment dringend einen neuen Duschvorhang und der Geruch der Bettwäsche ist verbesserungswürdig.
