Very interesting property in the woods. We loved the ambience. Especially enjoyed the quaint elevator. It was very well stocked. We wish the fireplace had been working but that did not deter from our marvelous stay.

Thanks for coming. You’re welcome any time.
The gas fireplace does work; it is just a bit difficult to start.
Prism in the woods is a beautiful property! It's a great place to stay for couples. Some of the doors and lights need a little maintenance, but this did not bother us. I would recommend the house to anyone looking for a lovely venue in a beautiful location with quick access to Acadia. The host is very responsive and attentive.
Nice house, I think given the changing climate may eventually need air-conditioning, but overall very well made property. Could use a few upgrades like smart home automation and has a bit of wear and tear. I was glad we spent a few days there.

Thanks for staying Steven. I do control hearing, ceiling fans, kitchen oven and dishwasher from my phone. Did not think was worth to allow you access to those features given your short stay..
Like staying in a museum, in the best wayThis house was incredible. We spent a week here and felt like we were living in a museum, surrounded by beautiful, interesting pieces everywhere you look. Clean, comfortable, and very well furnished. The location was perfect for exploring Acadia. Everything we wanted on the island was 15-30 minutes away. One heads-up: the upper level involves some narrow stairs, so it could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues, and probably isn't ideal for small children. Neither applied to us, so it was no problem. We'd absolutely stay again.
This was truly an exceptional stay. The house is an architectural gem built in 1994 allowing nature, light and beauty into the unique structure. Stefano was a perfect and generous host. I would recommend this stay to anyone wanting to be near Acadia but not near the tourism of Bar Harbor. It's truly a secluded, quiet yet convenient location.
We had a remarkable time at Prism in the Woods. You literally felt like you were in the middle of Acadia National Park. It was quiet, great places to walk, close to fun sites and eateries…nothing but beautiful memories!

This home was a lovely refuge for our family, and we enjoyed having it as a home base to explore the hikes on that side of the island. Highly recommend the Beech Hill Farm Stand, as well as the Acadia Mtn/St. Sauveur trails.
The property is absolutely stunning. The architecture of the house is simple, smart, functional and comfortable. The house is well appointed with everything you could need and provides a perfect place to relax away from the crowds.

We visit Acadia with our teenage children every summer, and this is the most incredible house we have ever rented. Unique design, photos do not do it justice - very modern, clean, stocked on all essentials. Location is perfect for hiking in Acadia, yet gives you plenty of privacy in the woods.
