Neighbourhood overview
Prince Edward County is full of exciting things to explore - from wineries and breweries to fine dining, arts and culture, shopping and of course the best in farm stands! It's impossible to list all of our favourites but we are more than happy to share recommendations to suit your tastes.

Getting around
Prince Edward County is much bigger than one might think. You will need a car to get around the County and explore every nook and cranny. Bicycles are also availble for local runs to the Blueberry, Strawberry patch, the County Cider Company and Fifth Town Cheese factory - please let us know in advance and we can help you make arrangements to have bikes available. There are plenty of galleries, shops wineries, breweries, farm stands, artisans and local producers to keep you very busy during your stay. Please to try and take in a trip Sandbanks Provincial Park or check out the Dunes if you can. If you long for a quieter secluded beach, we have a few recommendations for those too! Prince Edward County has something for everyone all year long.

Other things to note
Being a country cottage, we are on well water and a septic system. We ask that you keep that in mind when showering and keep it short. Only toilet paper is to be flushed down the toilet, everything else goes in the trash. There are 4 cottages on PC Lane, please do respect the neighbours by not blocking the laneway. Please also respect the privacy of the neighbours, and they will do the same for you. The Property is perched on top of a somewhat steep hill, please keep that in mind if you travel with children. The large deck does have two latched gates. The gardeners will come once a week to cut the grass - please let them do their thing and they will be gone before you know it. You are in the country, there will be bugs! Please keep the doors closed so the bugs can stay freely outside and not bother you inside. PETS: We are pet friendly but all pets must be approved in advance when you book - we reserve the right to decline depending on type of dog, etc (dogs only). For anyone bringing dogs, we ask that you please bring a blanket for pets to protect the furniture and to keep dogs off the bed completely. With the extra cleaning involved we do add a $10/night per pet surcharge (maximum of 2 dogs). Most of the other Lane residents have dogs, some like to roam. If this is an issue for you, please keep the gates on the deck closed.
