This gorgeous apartment with spacious courtyard garden is perfectly located close to the beachfront and town centre. Perfect for family/friends gatherings and staycations. The BIC, theatres and cinema complex are five minutes walk away. And the beach is at the bottom of the road -a mere two minutes away. Retreat into stylish accommodation with high-speed internet access, flat-screen TV & home-like amenities. The fully equipped kitchen - induction hob, combination microwave, large convection oven, fridge freezer, dish washer, washing machine and dryer - has lots of room for the cook, the assistant cook and anyone else who wants to help. There is a six seater dining table and lots of cupboard and counter top space. Guests have cooked a Christmas dinner for six here with no complaints. That’s how well the kitchen is equipped. The lounge has a four and three seater settees with stylish coffee tables, a book club and a flat screen TV with Amazon and Netflix programmed. There are DVDs and music to play on the DVD player and a cupboard full of jigsaws and some of our favourite games. No excuse to be bored! The main bedroom with king sized bed has amble wardrobe space and shelves and an ensuite shower room. There is a first aid kit in the bathroom cupboard and a hairdryer in the bedside drawer. We can also supply a travel cot and high chair for your little one. The second bedroom is twin beds, large wardrobe and shelves and a toy bookcase full of books and jigsaws. The comfortable bed settee in the lounge lets the property sleep six. The bedding is in the top of the wardrobe in the twin room. There is a quiet workstation in the master bedroom with good light and comfy chair if you do have to work during your stay. The family bathroom has a duck theme with a huge walk in shower. Perfect for people with mobility issues or parents trying to cope with young children hair washing. Outside, there is a dining table for six, gas BBQ and summer house with drinks fridge and music system if you want some “me time” away from the noise and bustle of the excited family. The building is a converted hotel. Rockmount Court is at the rear, with its own access. The noise of the town is very rarely heard. Privacy is guaranteed. There is also one private parking space allocated to the apartment. The parking on the street is free if you have more than one car but street parking cannot be guaranteed as it is a very popular area. The town centre, Bournemouth pier and Bournemouth Lower Gardens are all within 5-10 minute's walk. There is a bus stop 100 metres away which takes you to a retail park and around the town. The train station is a five minute taxi ride. If you are flying into Heathrow or Gatwick there are direct buses into Bournemouth. Please ask for any transport links you may need. Great for friends, families, couples. Even travelling for work is catered for.

Easy check in, great communication.
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that upstairs were quite loud Sunday morning which woke those sleeping in the master bedroom.

Hello, thought I’d better introduce myself. I’m Elsie, a loud, proud, Scots woman who has settled in the South of England because I can’t stand the Scottish winters anymore. We purchased Rockmount Court at the beginning of 2021 to use as a base while we continue travelling. The last 5 years we (Lionel and I) have been living on our yacht, Ruby Tuesday. There’s a picture of her in the living room. We sailed over 35,000nm on her, Scotland, Ireland, France, Portugal, Mediterranean, Cannaries, Caribbean, US and Canada and everywhere in between. Ruby was sold in August 2020 but we hope to continue travelling over land for a good few years. If you want to read more our sailing blog is lionelandelsiegosailing. Both of us worked in Scotland for a lot of years, that’s where our families grew up and still stay. I come from Fife originally, brought up on a small farm. I worked in the electronic industry for a long time then went into customer service before working in a old people’s residential home which I loved. I am chatty, approachable and open to almost any adventure we can think of. RVing the length of North and South America anyone? Just one of the many things we hope to do in the future. I hope you enjoy your stay in Rockmount Court. We love the place especially the fact you are in the centre of Bournemouth but the apartment and courtyard is so quiet. Why they chose this property
Good question. There are so many holiday let’s available in Bournemouth, each with a unique look. Maybe that’s why it’s such a popular short break and holiday destination. But why choose Rockmount Court? Well, we are very central. The beach is at the bottom of the road. The shops are just five minutes away. The pier is just a short walk down the hill or a ride in the cliff lift. We have everything on our door step. The apartment itself is big (950sq.ft). It is full of light, contemporary decorated with colourful original art and is fully equipped for a family stay or some friends down for a weekend break. We can accommodate six people, two on a very comfortable bed settee. There is a travel cot (for your babies). We do not supply the linen for the travel cot. The larder has some basics - salt, pepper, oil, herbs and spices, tea, coffee, sugar. Lots of dishes both grown up and child’s. Our selling point is the courtyard. It has a dinning table for six, gas BBQ, patio heater and a fully equipped summerhouse with electric, comfie chairs, table, small drinks fridge, kettle and mugs, glasses, spoons etc. And for those beach visits we have a beach chest full of everything you need for your beach day including a cool box and a trolley to transport it all. Just add some muscles to pull it back up the zig zag or you could take the lift in the high season. If you need anymore information please contact me.
