Situated in the grounds of the owner's beautiful home, The Bothy is in a wonderfully peaceful setting in the village of Tunley. This classic little bothy is every inch the country retreat, yet less than six miles from the bustling and ever popular city of Bath. As it is only three miles from Odd Down Park and Ride, you will have no parking issues in Bath.
All situated on ground floor level, this charming bolthole for two has been carefully and stylishly designed with a smart and contemporary open plan living /dining/ kitchen area. The accommodation is completed by a beautifully appointed bedroom and an en suite shower room.
Outside there is a private terrace and large garden, shared with the owner. Complete with barbecue, you can enjoy eating al fresco on those balmy summer evenings, and you can enjoy stunning west countryside views, far reaching to The White Horse in Wiltshire.

Excellent stay for 2 south of Bath
The Bothy is a well equipped, modern cottage for 2 in a tranquil setting south of Bath. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay.
Being easily accessible & close to Bath Park & Ride, the Bothy was ideally located for sight seeing Bath itself & areas beyond.
Throughly enjoyed our stay small but adequate lovely view. We had wonderful weather and Tony gave us some great places to visit. The pub up the road had lovely meals . It was nice to just relex and enjoy the surrounding towns.

Clean and modern place.Tiny bed, not big enough for 2 adults.I don't know why "national park" is mentioned in this review tool, as we did not book to visit any national park.

Customer service so good and helpful .Nice welcome basket with essentials and treat .Flexible regarding updated plans.
Also Peasedown Paradise. The Bothy is a smug retreat and provides good access to Peasedown St John and surrounding area. For me it was a great starting point for some very pleasant walks. The host Andy is warm and friendly. A very pleasant experience all around.

Immaculate property, compact and well fitted out. Smooth booking process with good communication and the owner was lovely. We checked in late, 10.30pm and were were really touched to find he had turned lights on and even electric heaters in the main room and bedroom, it was so appreciated. There was also fresh bread, milk, eggs and butter so breakfast was sorted. Beautiful location, very close to park and ride and multiple areas of interest. Highly recommended.....thank you!

A bothy with a view
We had a wonderful time in this cosy, comfortable, clean accommodation. Andy was incredibly generous with his time and welcome pack. We had everything we needed at the Bothy and a view that was breathtaking, complete with friendly cows. It's in a really central location, so all the places of interest we wanted to visit, such as Bath, Stourhead, Avebury etc were within easy reach. Daphne the spaniel is such an asset-we loved her! Thank you Andy for your friendly welcome, which immediately made us feel at home.
