Stayed for one week with our family (four adults and two children). A spacious apartment, which is modern and very well presented. Well provided for with tea, coffee, biscuits, dish washer tablets, washing up liquid, hand soap etc. Also a box of fudge, local information and a voucher for the fish and chip shop downstairs, which is highly recommended. We had an issue with the hot water and Bobby had it sorted immediately. Lovely drive to Lynmouth across the moor. Recommend walking the circular route from Lynmouth to the Valley of the Rocks. Fantastic views. Also had days on the beach at Woolacombe and Saunton Sands, hiring surf boards and paddle boards. Good idea to book eating places at busy periods. Parking is no issue at all. Plenty of free parking further down Bampton Street without being outside peoples houses. Would highly recommend the Lofthouse. Plenty of places to visit, lovely walks and pubs in the area. Easy booking experience with bookingbrain and efficient communication sent in good time. Simpson Family

Minehead is a lovely seaside town that sits on the edge of Exmoor National Park. If walking is your passion, there is no better place to be. Not only do you have Exmoor stretching out before you with its magnificent views, wildlife and cosy pubs, the town is also the starting point of the Southwest National Coastal Path, the longest distance countryside trail we have. It's also the terminus for West Somerset Railway, the longest heritage railway in Britain.

The town offers a wide range of attractions, including the beach, promenade, harbour, beautiful gardens and colourful tree lined avenue with an array of shops and amenities. Dominated by the wooded slopes of North Hill, the whole area is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty.
