On the first floor there are two of the bedrooms, one double bedroom with dressing room area and sea views, and one single bedroom (also with sea view). The family bathroom is also on the first floor, comprising corner bath, shower unit, toilet and hand basin. The other two bedrooms are on the second floor, one double bed and one twin (with sea view).

Two dogs (max) are welcome by prior arrangement, for supplement of £15. Please do not leave your dogs alone in the property and do not allow them on the furniture.

Indoor Description
The kitchen is fitted with new appliances including an integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also an Italian coffee maker (for use on the hob) and a cafetiere provided.

Wifi for 2020 has been upgraded to a 33mb+ service and Wi-Fi mesh installed throughout house to give high bandwidth in every room.

.

Parking
There is space to park one car in the courtyard area beside the cottage, inside the garden gates. Plus, one parking permit is provided for a second car if required (it will be left inside the cottage for you). This permit can be used to park in any of the parking spaces along Quay West and Quay St in Minehead (please though avoid parking outside neighbours properties). If you have more than 2 cars in your group, there is pay and display parking along Quay West, there are machines along the road or you can use the Phone and Pay app, (a weekly permit bought via Phone and Pay costs £25). The nearest free parking is on the North Hill road, where you can walk down a short path to the harbour.

Please note: When there is a storm, large stones can be thrown up from the beach! These can be thrown half way across the road so we suggest that if a storm is forecast - leave extra cars down in the public car park by the Old Ship Aground pub.

EV charging is not permitted from the property. There are EV charging stations in the town:
- North Road car park, Minehead TA24 5AY
- Alexandra Road car park, Minehead TA24 5DP

- Seaward Way, Minehead TA24 6DF

Great location. Fantastic for young children and dogs especially. There were toys and books for children- we loved reading the books! Dogs bowls were also provided. It was good that there was a small supply of loo rolls, hand soap, washing liquid and dish washer tablets. These sort of touches were really helpful. The kitchen is well equipped. It's a child friendly house with a very lovely bath! It's huge!

This is a fantastic holiday cottage. Firstly the location is perfect with sea views in front and the moors just a very short walk away. The cottage itself is well looked after, with everything you could need for a family holiday. Our girls appreciated use of the Wii on the one rainy day we had. All the bedrooms are spacious and we especially loved waking to the sound and views of the sea. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. All facilities are modern. There is an information book for the cottage and with details of nearby attractions. We did not want to leave such a wonderful place and you can bet your bottom dollar we will return.

It was a great stay in an amazing surrounding. the house was comfortable and clean. We started each morning with a step to the seat in front of our house . We had a great view to the see and nice talks with people who brought their dogs by car to the entrance of the national park. Just a few steps away from the house is a pub "The Old Ship Aground" with wonderful food and excellent beer.

We had a lovely holiday in a clean comfortable house right on the edge of the sea. November was not the best month to visit Minehead but the weather was unseasonably good and we were even able to take the babies on the beach, The cafe next to the the Ship Aground did us a take away breakfast Saturday and Sunday which was very reasonable and well cooked. The pub on the quay has an extensive menu and the food is very good, We can also recommend the fish and chip shop on the sea front. The dog also had a lovely time with lots of walks! Just one negative. We had toddler twins and had to lug cot beds down from home so it would have been nice if a local place could have been recommended where we could have hired cot beds and high chairs. we did wonder whether Butlins would do this?

This property is a great place to chill as well an excellent base to explore from, plenty of space for all types of families and a very well presented with all the mod cons and games in the house and a great walking area along the cliff top or a short walk to the ship aground or the taste cafe by the harbour and the town centre is an easy flat 20 minute walk where you will find the Wheelhouse restaurant which was most excellent . There is ample parking supplied with the property and there is in the near by car park and sea front parking for additional vehicles.
