All bedrooms in the main house are located on the 1st floor and furnished with luxury super king 6' x 6'6'' (king) or king (queen) 5' beds. And for the greatest comfort of our guests, are all ensuite with a bathtub and over-bath power shower.

We are ideally located for exploring Donegal's Wild Atlantic Way from Bundoran to Malin Head or for attending a wedding at any of the local 4* and 5* hotels.
We appreciate during your stay you will prefer to just be together, so we won't impose ourselves unless you want a chat about local secrets places to visit. You will be provided with a code to the lock key situated outside and each bedroom has its own lock and key. We aren't too far away should you need assistance with anything..
Donegal Town is a beautiful town, the locals love living and working here and its name in Irish means 'Fort of the Foreigner meaning the locals also enjoy sharing their space with visitors from all around the world. It's a vibrant town with great restaurants, cafes and food shops. There are home bakeries great butchers and a speciality health food store catering for all dietary needs. One of the best country/farmers markets is held just a couple of miles away from Donegal Manor on most Saturdays. Beside the Leghawney Market is a play area and a most beautiful loop walk.
Short 10 - 30 minute drives and walks include the Lough Eske Drive with its many walks, Blue Stack Mountain Drive which you can see from some of the bedroom windows. The community have developed a child-friendly bank walk in Donegal Town, nature-lovers walk with fairy trees for children to explore. Further drives include Slieve League and area, Malin Head, Horn Head, Glenveigh Castle, Gaeltacht areas, Giants's Causeway. You will be spoilt for beaches, including Murvagh, Rossnowlagh, and our favourite, The Holmes Beach.
If you are interested in history, Donegal Castle is worth a visit as is The Donegal Railway Museum. Lots of Megalithic sites to visit and indeed we might have one in one of our fields behind the Manor. Alternatively, it could be a cattle scratcher, which some imposter single standing stones have been identified as. For active guests, there is horse riding, surfing, walking, cycling, fishing, boat rides and hill walking all very close to Donegal Manor.
Donegal Town itself is close enough to walk around without a car, however, to go further afield you will need to be transported by bus or preferably a car, cycle or motorcycle. Local tour bus guides will pick you up and drop you off at the Manor, these need to be booked in advance.
