The Persons Apartment - in the Heart of East Aurora
Hi! First, we need to say... Please introduce yourself when booking! It really helps, especially since VRBO doesn't make a point of it! Thanks for understanding. Please note, FYI, we leave the apartment empty for at least three days between guests, to allow the apartment to refresh between visits (and we are meticulous about cleaning!) The entrance has a private door off the street, specific to the Apartment.
Also, we have spare pillows and a spare comforter!
We've fully remodeled our 1 bedroom apartment! It's right in the center of what's happening in the village, and surrounded by a great selection of restaurants, pubs, a brewery!, sushi, a bakery, many galleries, museums, Fisher Price Toys! - all within a short walk. There can also be found great skiing, hiking, and biking nearby. Our ice rink is just down the street!
The space:
We've thoroughly updated the apartment in our 1860's mercantile building, with a gorgeous shower, completely modern kitchen, and a roomy bedroom (with king size bed, of course!) East Aurora is a unique village, with a well known history in western New York - Elbert Hubbard and his Roycrofters brought East Aurora to fame in the early 1900's Arts and Crafts Movement. With the restoration of the Roycroft Inn and many of the original buildings of the Roycroft Campus, East Aurora has seen a nice resurgence overall. It's a great little village to explore, with many galleries, museums, restaurants and pubs, plus a nice selection of small retail shops. Outdoor activities are abundant... We can direct you to great parks in the area, primitive or not, for hiking and biking, or simply picnicking with a bottle of wine! - Knox Farm State Park is right outside of town - numerous County parks within a half hour's drive - Niagara Falls is an hour's drive - Letchworth State Park is a 45 minute drive - good alpine Skiing is a half hour - EA's very own hockey and skating rink is two blocks away. We both grew up here in East Aurora, and we love it. East Aurora is a lovely small village, with wonderful 'local' character & charm. We think you'll love our place.
No pets are permitted in our apartment.

It was a great place to stay in the heart of East Aurora. The apartment was clean, near to shops and restaurants. The hosts were very communicative and made sure I knew everything I needed to know about the stay. I would definitely come back again.
We travel to East Aurora 1-2 times/year to visit our son and his family. Our stay at the Persons apartment was perfect! Great hosts. Outstanding location. VERY clean. Quiet. Bed was great. We look forward to returning there again and again.

Joanne left our apartment in perfect shape. We hardly knew she'd been there, & would love to have her back!
Thanks Joanne!
Lovely, accommodating spot with a nice sense of style. Just a tip, though, if you have any problems with mobility like bad knees or hips, the stairs to the rental are very long and steep!
This place was excellent ! If you like to be on main street, walk to several eating/coffee/shopping establishments, this is the place for you. My wife and I loved this VRBO, and it was incredibly quite, being above a women's dress store. We will be back! Thanks.

The charm and creativity of the little village of East Aurora is also found in this fabulous apartment! Intriguing design elements, best location for morning walks and shopping. Attentive owners. I would say if this place is available for your next visit to East Aurora, grab it!!

Thanks for the great review Cecily! And thanks for taking care of our place too . Best wishes!
It was a pleasure to stay here b/c it was well set up. The entry hallway had coat hooks, umbrellas, a shoe rack and a place to sit to take shoes on & off. The modernized bath had a wardrobe type cabinet where we were able to stow our daily toiletries, the bedroom had a chest at the end of the bed that allowed us a way to keep our large suitcase open for easy access, as well as a wardrobe with two hanging spaces with plenty of hangars and multiple drawers for underwear, etc. There were trashcans conveniently located where useful. The kitchen supported our limited needs. While the stools at the counter look like they might be uncomfortable, they were fine for sitting to eat. The place had multiple windows so it was bright during the day, and able to be well-lit at night. Note: In case you require complete dark and quiet to sleep, the curtains, while thick fabric, are light filtering rather than blackout, and the bedroom is situated along Main with windows facing the street. The flooring was varied, changing in various areas across the apartment. The decor has character, with period linens and interesting collectibles. Communication was easy and as frequent as desired!

Thanks so much Regina! You're very kind after suffering through that week without AC up there! It did finally get fixed, thank goodness.
We're glad the apartment fit your needs for your visit!
We appreciate your point about the blackout curtains. We will address that.
Thanks again for staying in our place.
The communication from the hosts make you feel like family. The apartment is so nicely done and has a perfect location. We could not have been happier with the stay and would recommend anybody to try it out. Hopefully we will be back!
This is such a great place. The location on Main Street can't be better. Close to shopping and restaurants. Perfectly appointed with great owners. Cant say enough about this.

Person’s apartment East Aurora: Heaven!
Fantastic experience at this gem! Owners could not have been more helpful. Location is perfect and the interior is off the chart! Lots of space, a beautiful bathroom with walk-in shower, everything one would need in the kitchen, and lots more. Our 30 plus days were great with our daughter’s growing ( she had #4 when we were there!) family and having this beautiful getaway to return to was perfect! Walking distance to numerous restaurants/shopping/etc. highly recommended.
