About this property
Flagstaff Cabin Retreat Nestled in the Quiet surround of Ponderosa Pines
Welcome to Your Flagstaff Forest Hideaway!
Welcome to our adorable cabin in the pines — fully remodeled in 2022 and nestled on over 2 acres of private serenity. Whether you're here to hike, bike, ski, snowshoe, or just sip coffee on the porch while watching squirrels argue over pinecones, you’ve found your cozy basecamp in the high country.
Located just minutes from Snowbowl Ski Resort, Fort Valley Trailhead, and downtown Flagstaff, this is where crisp mountain air meets peaceful vibes. You’ll feel like you're tucked deep into the woods — but you’re still close to everything you might need.
And a personal note: this cabin sits right next to our home. It’s not just a rental — it’s part of our little forest haven. We love it, and we think you will too. In fact, most guests tell us they’re already planning their return before they’ve even packed up.
What You’ll Love:
• Quaint, fully stocked kitchen (yes, you can make pancakes here)
• Solid-surface floors — easy to clean and allergy-friendly
• Covered front deck for quiet mornings and peaceful evenings under the stars
• 1 assigned parking spot (1 car only — no wiggle room on this, sorry!)
• Optional access to gas BBQ grill and gas fire pit (details below)
A Few Things You Need to Know (Yes, Actually Read This Part):
@DOGS/PETS@ – Let’s Be Clear:
• Max 2 small dogs
• 45 lbs or under per dog
• NO cats — not up for debate
• Dogs MUST be on a leash anytime they are outside
• If left alone in the cabin, they MUST be kenneled
• No excessive barking — it disrupts the peaceful setting (and wildlife!)
• There is no fenced yard — and we do have wild animals, wandering grandkids, and the occasional raccoon. Please keep your pets under control at all times.
*** FIRE PIT & BBQ – Available By Request Only:
• Both are gas-powered
• Let us know before you arrive if you’d like to use them so we can make sure the propane is ready
• One full tank is included — anything beyond that is your responsibility
• This is a gas fire pit — no roasting marshmallows or tossing pinecones into the flames
• If not requested ahead of time, these items may not be available during your stay
!!! Important Booking Note:
If you're booking through any site other than VRBO, you may miss out on critical info like check-in instructions, pet fees, or house guidelines. Please reach out before booking to make sure you’ve got all the right details. No one likes a confusing arrival.
A Final Word (Let’s Be Real):
This is a peaceful retreat in the woods — not a hotel. There’s no staff, concierge, or bellhop waiting on standby. If you need daily room service, we’re happy to recommend a few downtown hotels that’ll take great care of you.
But if what you’re looking for is fresh air, starry skies, and a comfy cabin that feels like a hidden gem… you’ve found it. This is our personal haven, and we’re thrilled to share it with thoughtful, respectful guests who will treat it with the same care we do.
You’re going to love it here — and chances are, you’ll already be planning your next visit before you even leave the driveway.
