3 night stay with teen and tween
La Casa Perezosa was great for our family of 4, including one tween and one teen. It rained majority of our 3 night stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the view but we did enjoy the pool. It’s a relatively small pool but big enough to entertain my daughters for a couple hours. The community and the house felt very secure. The house was clean and consistent with the photos. My youngest was a little freaked by the separate locked bedrooms but got over it quickly. The living room is not particularly comfortable to hang out in for any duration… uncomfortable couches and TV is at an odd angle. No biggie, we watched a movie from the bedroom. The new construction next door is very close to the house but was unoccupied so the house still felt very private. The kitchen was equipped well enough for basic breakfast and lunch. We did not cook any dinners. The in-unit washer and dryer were a great perk. We did notice the noise from the dirt road behind the property but the sound of the a/c and the rain on the metal roof drowned out most outside noise. Showers were hot with good pressure. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked great and cooled rooms quickly upon returning, when off while away. We had a rental car and found the house to be a great jumping off point for all our excursions. We had dinner at Mary’s BBQ one night, which is walking distance. Food was great and the staff was wonderful. Definitely worth a stop.
