High Beach Cottage is a superb holiday house offering spacious and luxurious holiday accommodation for up to eight guests. Ideally set on an elevated position to maximise the views over the seaside village in Kames. Guests will enjoy stylish living and sea vistas over the Kyles of Bute in a charming coastal location. Ideal for families and couples.
Beautifully decorated and designed High Beach Cottage is warm and welcoming at any time of the year. Dominated by spacious living areas and views. Guests will appreciate all the modern comforts this holiday house offers.
The ground floor features the living room, with a wood burning fire, comfortable sofas and windows to enjoy the ever-changing views over the Kyles. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with all your modern appliances. The dining area is a wonderful space for casual meals, with patio doors that open up onto the terrace decking.
From the kitchen there is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Bedrooms and Bathroom
There is a twin bedroom on the ground floor with a shared family bathroom. Upstairs there are two beautifully appointed double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, all with quality furnishings and bed linen. Travel cot available.

Patio doors open up to the outdoor decking terrace that catches the midday sun with landscaped gardens below. Enjoy sea views, alfresco meals or relaxed afternoons soaking up the Scottish sunshine. Your private garden has further outdoor seating areas to the side of the house. The Summer evenings in Kames are magical.
The waterfront is only a five minute walk down the hillside where you can walk along the shoreline.
The local Kames Hotel is only a short walk away.
Just a short walk to Kames Village there is a friendly pub and welcoming locals. Kames is tucked away on the West Coast of Scotland, also known as Argyll's Secret Coast. Nearby is the main street of Tighnabruaich where you will find local arts and crafts, cafes and further pubs.
Bordered by Loch Fyne and the Kyles of Bute, this is an area of stunning natural beauty, with hills, glens, rugged coastlines, white beaches, clear waters and ancient forests. The whole area is steeped in Highland history and dotted with ruins, castles and ancient sites.
Just over 4 miles away is Portavadie, the well known marina, with a leisure spa, indoor swimming pool, outdoor infinity pool, jacuzzi and 2 restaurants.
Explore further afield to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, the Isle of Bute, and historic Inveraray, it's also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland.
