Everyone who first enters this luxury villa is left speechless - from the moment you open the beautiful stained glass door one is faced with truly awe inspiring views to the sea, mountains, and the Arabic castle of Salobreña. Multiple terraces and a heated private pool make this an ideal location for a wonderfully relaxing holiday for couples and families alike. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, the villa is also ideal for 2 families/couples sharing. The pool terrace and pool are private and not overlooked. There are numerous terraces for relaxing, sunbathing or dining 'Al Fresco', in and out of the sun. Palm tress and a two level wood decking create shade and an enormous flat terrace creates ample room for relaxing in the sun. Totally refurbished - new furnitures - indoor and outdoor - new sunbeds and a 6-seat jacuzzi. New mattresses in all beds

Inside the villa there is everything you require from a fully equipped kitchen to the open planned living area complete with new LED TV (can provide several channel choices, as English, Scandinavian, Russian, etc), Free WiFi for your laptop. The bedrooms all have fitted mirror wardrobes, air condition and ceiling fans, 2 with en-suites, the 3rd bathroom being upstairs on the living area floor.

Area: The villa is located at a short walk to the community area with communal pool, children's pool, playground, tennis, table tennis, football pitch & basketball hoop.

It is a 45 minutes drive to Granada and its Alhambra, the number one attraction in Spain, 1 hour to the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, where you can do both downhill and cross country skiing from December through April. Less then half an hour drive you find Almunecar with its markets and Roman ruins, La Herradura with its beautiful harbour and Nerja with its underground caves.

Nice villa with great view over Salobrena. Heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. Three bathrooms and three bedrooms. It was nice to visit the villa and all the essentials were there (toilet paper, botle of water, coffee, etc.).Usage of electricity is high in winter, since the pool and jacuzzi are heated.

Excellent location for a relaxing trip. Spectacular views. Clean, well-stocked kitchen. The only negative was there were no flashlights or candles available during the blackout. Easy to reach attractions along the coast.

Third stay in the villa

Third stay in the villa. We enjoyed the breathtaking views. It's great to swim in the heated pool in November. The jacuzzi is perfect for relaxing. And Sjur is a host who cares about his guests. Thank you Sjur, we will definitely be back.

Lovely week at this spacious villa, really clean, really well equipped, private. Walking distance to friendly community pool/snack bar/play park or a short trip in the car to the beach/restaurants and facilities/attractions of Salobreña. Sjur has been an incredibly responsive host from booking to any questions and we would certainly recommend this place.

A brilliant villa

Stunning views from over Salobrena. To be fair 90% of the time was spent outside on the terrace under the shaded area or in the pool, we only slept inside. Sjur was excellent to deal with and Graham his house manager was on the ball. Would certainly return and I have no problem in recommending this excellent and spacious villa

House With A View

Fabulous location, fabulous huge property!! Very clean and had everything we needed and more !! We had 4 in our party 1 couple and 2 singles .. the pictures really don’t do the property justice and the value for money was outstanding!! We would definitely go again ..!!! Loved everything about it!! And the area was soo beautiful and Very Spanish.. definite bonus .. the host Sgur was extremely helpful and the house manager Graham was excellent at his job and extremely friendly!!

Great Views!

The property sells itself with the view. The listing photos are 100% accurate but doesn’t do the view justice. It is reverse living (enter on the main floor with all bedrooms downstairs), but the amenities are complete. The outdoor spaces are numerous and very spacious. Getting to the house is a little bit of a project with the narrow switchback roads but we got used to it - no quick trips to the store, plan accordingly when you are in town. We visited in February to see what the dead of winter was like and it was equivalent to May at home in the Pacific Northwest of the US. We really enjoyed our stay and fell in love with the quiet, quaintness of nearby Solebrena - no doubt a mad house in the summer. Recommend this place fully!

Pool was very dirty and cold when we arrived even after we asked for pool heating. Outside area was very dirty tables dirty cushions torn. Many things not working and broken. Reported the pool and a week later pool and area around sort of cleaned but still cold and dirty we told manager we would not be using it . This was one of the worst villas we have ever rented

Pool was cleaned and ready by 4 o'clock, heated to 25 degrees. Windy afternoon and rain, pool not inspected by the guests until next morning. Therefore leaves and seeds were in the pool. Outside areas cleaned before their arrival, rain is always leaving surfaces somewhat grey when dried. These guests should have stayed in a hotel, and not in a villa. Some things they complained about were issues that occured because they were lacking normal skills to operate items. These people were seeking for big refunds without reasonable cause and should be avoided by home owners. We have mainly very good reviews, but from time to time you get difficult guests. Some of these guests complaints, minor issues, could have been addressed and fixed straight away- and would have been. We are always eager to react to complaints asap, as we seek pleased guests. These guests were not the kind that would address such issues at once, but wait until they left and looking for a big refund. Our house manager had to help these people operating their car on several occasions, not our concern, but since we want to be helpful we did it. Our house manager tells me their problems with the car was not really problems, but issues caused by lack of technical skills.

Wanted some late summer sun. Saw beautiful sunrise every morning of our stay from the bay window. Villa was spacious and well equipped. Heated pool was used several times a day and even after sunset. Really enjoyed our week at the villa at the end of October/beginning of November. Would recommend.

Tolles, sehr geräumiges Ferienhaus, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr gut in Schuss. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Gute Ausstattung, perfekte Kommunikation mit Gastgebern. Lage und Ausblick und Umgebung traumhaft. Kurze Fahrt mit dem Auto nach Salobrena zum Strand, Supermarkt, Restaurants. Sehr empfehlenswert! Das einzige, was wir vermisst haben, war eine Espressomaschine bzw. Kapselmaschine.

Mooi huis op prachtige locatie

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in Salobrena. Het huis heeft een geweldig uitzicht en absoluut pluspunt is het verwarmde zwembad. Helaas voor ons was de jacuzzi kapot, dit werd netjes vooraf gemeld en dit is ook heel goed opgelost door de verhuurder. Contact met de verhuurder was altijd erg prettig.

We are very sorry for the jacuzzi, which had a small pump that failed right in front of your holiday. The jacuzzi is still under warranty, but due to the holidays during Christmas the dealership were not able to provide us with a new pump at that time. Thanks for your understanding.

Tolle Aussicht, schlechtes Vermieterservice

Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war nur über FeWo direkt möglich und eher kompliziert (kein einziger persönlicher bzw. telefonischer Kontakt). Die Villa ist sehr schön gelegen, sehr großzügig vom Raumangebot, aber bereits ca 35-40 Jahre alt. Durch ein Teilstorno ca. 2 Monate vor der Anreise (1 Woche statt ursprünglich 2 Wochen) hat sich der Preis/Woche unverständlicher Weise um 57 % für die Woche erhöht (€ 3.770,00 statt € 2.400,00). Zusätzlich wurden uns Mehrkosten für Energie verrechnet, obwohl unser Energieverbrauch bestenfalls durchschnittlich war. Objektlage toll; Vermieterservice schlecht

Der Mieter hat den normalen Preis bezahlt, eine Rückerstattung wurde über Vrbo für die Woche gewährt, die storniert wurde, Sie sollten die Zahlungsabrechnung überprüfen. Darüber hinaus ist es unglaublich traurig, wenn Sie feststellen, dass Sie die Informationen, die Sie vor der Mietdauer erhalten, eindeutig nicht lesen. Sie erhalten Informationen über Telefonnummern sowohl für die Eigentümer des Hauses als auch für unseren Hausverwalter. Schließlich wird sowohl in der Anzeige als auch in der E-Mail, die Sie kurz vor Ihrer Ankunft im Haus erhalten haben, angegeben, wie Ihnen der Stromverbrauch in Rechnung gestellt wird. Meine Empfehlung ist, dass Sie in Zukunft die Informationen, die Sie erhalten, lesen, das Setup von Vrbo überprüfen und in Ihrem Feedback sachlich und ehrlich sind. Haus und Lage

Die Lage des Hauses ist einfach atemberaubend! Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz und ist bestens ausgestattet. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist die Platzierung der Lichtschalter, man gewöhnt sich aber dran. Den Umgang mit dem Fernseher, der tausende von Sendern hat, muss ebenfalls geübt werden (TV stürzt regelmäßig ab). Aber das ist kein wirklicher Kritikpunkt, Urlaub ist nicht Fernsehzeit! Der Pool macht echt Laune.

Prachtig huis met fantastisch uitzicht

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie in dit mooie huis gehad. In alle kamers goedwerkende airco, schoon zwembad, heerlijke douche. Fijne overkapping waar je 's avonds heerlijk kunt bbq-en en eten. We hebben werkelijk een heerlijke week gehad!

Séjour correct mais mauvaise surprise ensuite

Louée pour quelques jours en famille, c’est une maison avec une agréable vue, mais c’est tout !! Attention au propriétaire et à l’état des lieux. Les photos de l’annonce se sont pas celles de la réalité, bien plus anciennes… Cette maison n’est pas luxueuse contrairement au titre de l’annonce. Aucun état des lieux effectué. Personne pour nous accueillir ou lors de notre départ. Nous nous sommes fait accuser 2 jours après notre départ (alors que l’équipe de ménage attendait devant la maison à notre sortie), d’avoir casser une vitre et nous nous sommes fait débiter notre caution sans qu’il n’y eu d’état des lieux de sortie. La maison était visiblement relouée après nous. L’électricité en supplément est également débité de la caution sans discussion et au bon vouloir du propriétaire. (Plus de 60€ pour 5 jours sans nous communiquer d’index de sortie) Nombreuses prises électriques sans courant. L’eau chaude est très très limitée (pas suffisamment d’eau pour tout le monde, seulement 2 douches rapides et c’est tout). Il est impossible de prendre un bain car pas d’eau qui coule dans la baignoire… Nous aurions dû être plus attentifs aux différents autres avis récents et négatifs déjà publiés. Discussion impossible avec le propriétaire, juste d’être accusé à tord ainsi… Si nous avions réellement cassé quelque chose, il y a quelques chose qui s’appelle les assurances, nous l’aurions fait marcher !

It is sad to read reviews from guests who are not telling the truth. This guest should be avoided by all homeowners who rent out their villas. It seems they are trying to do as much damage to us as possible because they didn't want to pay for the damage they had done to one of the windows in the hallway. This was broken during their stay and was spotted by the cleaners immediately after the guests had left. This was charged and deducted from the deposit, price 260 euros. The invoice was delivered. The person who entered the villa on the day these guests left was one of the owners of the house. The guests have also been informed about this, but still they are telling lies. It's very sad to register that someone can be so rude and untrustworthy. The electricity is charged as informed both in the advertisement and in the welcome email. It is also explained in text and pictures in this email how they can check the power consumption as they go along with their stay. These guests have not been paying attention to the information given them it seems. After their stay we provided them with full documentation of the power consumption, with pictures from the application from the electricity company. They were charged for 63 euros in all. The villa has been upgraded a lot during the last year, but some of the pictures are older, not the furniture or other equipment. The villa has a key box system and they are well informed in their welcome email about this, sent to every tenant around one week before arrival. The staff from us that were in contact with these tenants at the end of their stay and met them reported them as very unpleasant and rude people. Please avoid these guests. It will ruin your property reviews with untruths.

Wonderful villa and host.

Second stay in the villa. Like the first time, we had a wonderful stay. The villa was in perfect condition, very very clean (inside and outside). There is all the necessary equipment. The new hot tub is awesome. The heated swimming pool is a big plus for swimming in november. Finally, the host is very attentive with us, he is concerned that we have an excellent stay.

The photos shows the villa correctly, only difference is that a few furnitures has been replaced with new ones and some changes has been done to where they have been put. Shower head is replaced. The toilet brushes was not dirty, inspected by house manager-they have a black color from the factory-and they are replaced regularly. Some glasses were probably grey shaded since guests do not follow instructions using the dish washer - a lot of calsium in the water in Salobrena which leads to this if you do not use the rinse aid and salt provided in the house. Jacuzzi cleaned and water tested by house manager upon arrival - test ok.
