The local village of Rudston is less than a mile away where the churchyard contains the Monolith from which the village gets it’s name (Rood Stane). Along the coast at Scarborough you have the Stephen Joseph Theatre which is known for its premieres of almost all of Alan Ayckbourn’s plays. It also boasts the largest open air theatre in Europe. During your stay why not try some of the real country pursuits such as coarse fishing or trying out some of the many bridleways across the estate, you are very close to Fraisthorpe where you can ride along the beach.
