Nice home for our five day stay in the Duoro Valley. The house is clean and comfortable. Located between Lamego and Cambres. Not an easy in and out, as you can only enter the drive from the downhill. I queried the host for the house number and the street name and was able to navigate directly to the house with Apple Maps. Hosts are not on site and don’t readily respond to the VRBO message app. All in all, a nice place with an exquisite view.
A beautiful and cosy house in the middle of the vineyards. Great distant view. An inviting terrace for eating and relaxing.
An attentive and friendly host.

The house is up on a hill with a wonderful view, where you can hear the birds sing and the church bells chime beautifully. The house was well furnished and very clean.
Overall they are trying. Beautiful rural view. Hard to find Google maps was awful owner could describe right driveway better. Place is plain but clean. The towels etc were good however the master bed was small and should be updated. Was a bit disappointed that we could not walk in the adjacent vineyards. They were the attractions. Overall a good stay not over the moon
This is a great location in the Duoro valley. Plenty of space and facilities, peaceful and quiet with great views and outdoor sitting areas. We would have stayed for a few days had we known we’d like it so much! Lamego is a beautiful town with the square and large church. Close to drive to vineyards and explore the area. Unfortunately, we could not load the map, so had to call the host, who was willing to meet us if necessary. Once we got a few landmarks and knew the gate was open, we found it ok. Recommend sharing the house number and placing a landmark or something to make it easier for guests to find the house. Highly recommended hime and location.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is well appointed and has an amazing view out over the hills covered in vines. However, it was hard to find as our GPS got onto the right road but couldn't find the right number. Luckily, a woman we asked much further up the road took us there. Also, the driveway up beyond the gate is extremely steep and at an angle, so it's hard to get in and out. The gas for the cooking stove had run out, but luckily I was able to phone the host and a person came out to put in a new gas tank.
We found the house easily. We loved the location. Lamego was close by with grocery stores, shopping and some lovely cultural sights. We were able to get to other places we wanted to see (Braga, Regua, Viseu) easily also. The kitchen was nicely equipped. We love to cook on vacation and this kitchen had all we needed. We ran out of gas one night and the host responded quickly and had someone at the house to change it within a half hour. Couple things to note - the listing says spa tub but there wasn't one while we were there (no big deal but would have been nice given the views - which are amazing). Also, there are no comfortable seating places. So if you are looking to relax for long periods, this may present a challenge. There is also really not enough seating for the number of people the house will hold. The couch CAN seat 3 but you will be cozy. If you are out and about and not spending much time at the house, you will be fine. Oh - when we first got there, I sat on one of the beds and about cried as it was hard. But I had some of my best sleep on that little hard bed so give it a chance. If you are looking for a lovely stay off the beaten path, I recommend this house and host.
