Amazing lot, no stairs to water, easy grade.

This newly constructed home built in 2017 in East Norris Point featuring 6 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms is perfect for large groups and children with a gentle, rolling slope to the water. The walk to the lake is second to none with no steps to the water after leaving the deck stairs! The yard includes a picnic table and room to set up your corn hole and camping chairs in the grass or by the fire pit. The 2 story dock features a slide and a covered slip for your boat. You could swim right off the dock and kayak in a beautiful, quite cove. Beautiful views of the lake from upper and lower covered decks with furniture and tables and chairs for extra dinning space with a Gas Grill on the upper deck.
Cable TV and free internet. There is a TV in the upstairs living room and the basement family room as well as 2 bedrooms.
Laundry room. 5 car parking.

No animals. This is a smoke free home.
Minimum age 27 for renter responsibility.

The house was amazing and the perfect location for a 40th birthday celebration on the lake. House was clean, beds comfortable and overall great space for a large group! The dock with wayer slide was a great place to float and relax in the water. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. We'll definitely go back to this house!

Property owner was wonderful to work with. Steve was on top of the communication answering questions as they came up. Beautiful view from the top porch allowed older folks to watch younger family members kayak ,swim and fish. Spacious kitchen and dinning area gave ample room. Double coffee makers and refrigerators were very much appreciated.

Loved this place!

My family and friends really enjoyed our stay at May's Harbour! The house was great. The boat dock was wonderful and the spot on the lake was perfect for floating and relaxing in the water without much boat traffic. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Great spot for a long weekend getaway with family and friends

The property is great and is as advertised. Good space for multiple families and friends. The dock is a huge hit with the kids. The access and sidewalk to the lake is great. Would love to return

Love this place

Third year here. Just love this place. The location is great and the house is just the right size for all of us (17 in total). The kids loved jumping off the top floor of the dock. Looking forward to spending more time here in the future.

So Relaxing

We have been staying on Norris lake for over a decade. With more wakeboards on the lake, this location is highly desirable. The water is generally calm, the views beautiful and the owners easy to work with. Hopefully coming back in 2025!

First - don’t forget to bring your own towels! We missed that note in the amenities section. This home was perfect for a family gathering. We were thankful for limited steps. Kitchen was well equipped, as we made meals for 12 easily. The decks had nice furniture that was very comfortable. The entire deck, gutters and windows/doors need to be pressure washed. Interior of cabin was clean, however had a broken cabinet and refrig that had trouble cooling. Excellent location on the lake. We visited 4 different marinas and enjoyed our stay.

Labor Day fun

We rented this house for a long Labor Day weekend. We loved the location. The house had everything we needed. Communication was great. We loved it so much that we rented it again for next year.

We love this house!

We've come to Norris and stayed at various properties for 10 years. This is the first time that we've stayed at a property two years in a row...and just booked it again for 2021/year 3. It meets all of our needs: covered dock, comfortable home, large kitchen and an easy walk to the dock/lake. The owner is very responsive and great to work with. We recommend this property highly!

May's Harbor July 2020

We loved our lake vacation at May's Harbor in July, 2020. Everything about the property and communication with the owner was excellent. We really liked the open spaces -- the kitchen, dining room seating, family areas, and the decks. All was very spacious. We have already reserved for 2021.

We'll be back!

We've spent many summers boating on Norris Lake with our extended family and we have finally found the house that fits all of our needs. Ample space for our growing families,, easy access to the covered dock, a clean house with all of the amenities...and there's even a nice neighborhood ramp to launch the boat. We had a great time and will be choosing the May house for next years' vacation!

Beautiful lake house!

Excellent lake house for family get together. Amazing views on quiet cove. House had everything we needed and space for kids and grandkids to enjoy. Small problem with septic system and when owner was notified he had plumber there and things were fixed quickly. Everyone already talking about renting again for next get together

Great clean getaway

We loved our stay. Very clean. So many bedrooms with multiple beds, and so many bathrooms to accommodate 12 adults. The hot water was never an issue with showers. Beautiful dock and for Norris one of the easier stairs/ramp for access that I have stayed out. 2 refrigerators was huge.

Second year!

We really like coming here. The house is roomy for our 4 families. Kids could watch tv in the evenings while the adults spent time on the upper dock. Plenty of bathrooms and beds. The two refrigerators are a definite plus. The added sidewalk down to the dock is much nicer than the path last year. Not to mention there are not too many steps down to the dock.

Norris' Best House Rental, Really!

This is our 5 annual friends trip to lake Norris. We've stayed in different places and this one is by far the best. The house accomodated 19 guest comfortable. The cove is perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddling boarding, dock slide and high jump deck. The owners were very helpful with scheduling our trip and answering our questions. We love the short walk to the dock without walking down steep hills and many steps. The lake view is amazing too. We will be back. Thanks.

Great get a way!

We really enjoyed the floating dock and slide! The view of the lake is beautiful from all the decks on the house! We rented a boat at Flat Hollow so did lots to tubing and going by boat to other marinas and restaurants was a lot faster than driving. I would have preferred to have the beds made and toilet paper and paper towel upon arrival and towels would have been great as well! Just a few upgrades to what is provided in the house would have made it perfect!

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday at this property. Plenty of comfortable seating in the living room areas. Large dining room tables with seating for everyone to eat together; not many properties have large tables! Kitchen had all the utensils, cooking supplies, etc. that we needed. The house is very clean! The yard has a nice area down by the dock with a picnic table where we enjoyed playing corn hole (provided by the owner along with many other games and toys) and roasting marshmallows in the firepit. Owner was very responsive to all my questions prior to our arrival. I would definitely recommend this property!

Great home for family and friends

This is our third year renting this home. It is very clean and up to date. We enjoy the double decker dock and kayaks along with being able to come inside and be comfortable with plenty of room for our whole family. The kitchen has an open feel with enough room to cook and still be able to talk with family and friends. It also has two refrigerators! The en-suite bathrooms are also a bonus. The owner is helpful with questions if anything shall arise. It is always a highlight of the summer and we cannot wait to return next year!

Schools out for summer

The house is better in person than the photos. Responsive host. The roads to get to the cabin were stressful but we were able to tow a 22ft boat up. The ramp is super close and easy to put in. Powell marina is close by for fuel and ice-cream. We only caught bluegills off the dock. Really thought I was gonna catch a poop ride winning bass. Two refrigerators were wonderful. The kids were exhausted every night.

Our primary residence is in Okeana, OH but we love to visit Norris Lake with our 5 children, friends and family every chance we get.

Why they chose this property

We have always wanted to own a lake property and after visiting many lakes, we knew Norris Lake was the one for us. The location and light grade of our property was the perfect place to build our lake home.

What makes this property unique

Our property has a light grade down to the water, with no steps after leaving the deck and no cliff to worry about. This allows for a grassy area for corn hole, seating near the water watching kids play or watching boats go by. There are trees for shade or even a hammock. And then at night you can sit by a camp fire and roast marshmallows or recap the day.
