Cosy Cottage. Log Stove, Private Walled Garden, Coastal Walking From The Door.
Chapel Studio, in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, is a small, warm, homely, stone studio cottage to sleep one or two people at the road’s end in Treleddyd Fawr. This quiet hamlet is perched on the south facing slopes of the rocky outcrops of St. Davids headland with views across the Atlantic Ocean to Skomer, Ramsey and other offshore islands. The coast path, isolated seal breeding coves, Whitesands and Porthmelgan beaches and iron age settlement on St Davids Head are easily accessible by footpath. Originally the caretaker’s cottage for the adjacent chapel, (which was built in 1834 and is now the owner’s home), it retains original stonework combined with rich woodwork and large south facing windows overlooking its own enclosed garden. For 20 years the studio has provided a quiet hideaway cwtch in private mature wooded gardens with wifi, coastal walks from the door and all the amenities of St Davids less than two miles away. A truly wonderful getaway from the busyness of life ... a perfect , cute cozy cottage nestled in Treleddyd Fawr Pembrokeshire ... a very peaceful place to regain focus and energy
Everything you need for comfortable stay, beautiful little garden too. Stuart and Ann are lovely hosts. Close to fabulous stretches of Pembrokeshire coast. Loved it!
Cozy little cottage, possibility to make a fire if it gets cold and very close to a great section of the Pembroke coastal path. Ideal for two. Nice and discreet landlords.
After a very busy Christmas we were looking forward to a beautiful quiet few days over New Year and we were not disappointed. The cottage is lovely and compact with everything you need, it’s also convenient for coastal walks and only a short drive away from Saint Davids and small towns.
What a lovely stay we had! Stuart was so kind and charming. We truly enjoyed our stay in the area of St Davids. So many walks to do to so many beautiful vistas! The communication with the host was very prompt and easy.
Farmers Arms in town was a delightful stop at the end of the day. We enjoyed an Evensong Service at the Cathedral. We hope to come back someday!
The cottage was excellent for one or two adults with potentially a small child as there is an aditional bed above the main one.
The location was perfect for my needs.
The owners are very friendly and you might be able to taste their honey they produce.

Warm cosy cottage. 20min walk from coastal path
Lovely cosy cottage, only 20min walk from stunning coastal paths. Description of cottage was accurate. One room containing kitchen area with cooker, fridge etc. 2 comfortable armchairs next to solid fuel wood burner, which made the room warm and comfortable. (Follow directions for lighting this otherwise it can get a bit smokey!)
Double bed in other side of room was very comfortable with firm mattress and memory foam topping - which made it so comfortable and welcoming after walking for hours along the coastal paths.
Good shower/bathroom facilities, and everything was lovely and clean.
Small enclosed garden, which is a beautiful sun trap and secluded. Even has its own resident robin that flies down for crumbs every time he saw us sitting on the bench! Also had good off road parking facility.
The path from the cottage to the National Trust Coastal Paths took about 20min to get there. It is uphill, then level, then a fairly steep decent to the cliff, so a degree of fitness is required. You will be rewarded with the most spectacular views and the highlight of our holiday was seeing the seals with their new born pups, lying together in the sheltered bay just below the cliff. We were blessed with sunny weather all week and visited the seals every day. We even saw a pod of porpoises nearby whilst sitting on the rocks, and lots of bird life above the coastal paths, including peregrines, kestrels, buzzards and red kites.
We visited St. Davids, Ramsey Island boat trip, Woolen Mill and Studio Pottery - all very close to cottage. We cant recommend any pubs as we were happy to do our own self catering in the cottage, though we can recommend Sunday lunch at St Davids Cathedral refectory - good value for money.
We have had a lovely stay. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and have already done so with people we met whilst on our coastal walks. We hope to return one day.Thank you Stuart and Anne for a lovely holiday.

It's great to see guests making the most of the studio. Well done. It's always a danger when guests have the same stove model that they assume it will behave like their own. I will start pointing out to any Morso owning guests that all chimneys are different which is why we provide instructions for lighting. All suggestions help future guests.
We both enjoyed our stay here immensely. It was my first time visiting Pembrokeshire and our intention was to walk as much as possible. It was great that you could do great circular walks from the property and come back to a great bolt hole. The wood burner was fab. We were so blessed with the weather too sun and no rain every day so that helped to make our stay perfect
We had a fantastic week in this little cottage. The owner is very kind, the cottage is compact but tastefully organised with a nice garden and the surrounding area is so beautiful. In 20 minutes walk over the hill we were sitting on the cliff tops watching the seals bobbing up and down in the sea (and hearing them sing and growl to each other). Then an incredibly beautiful walk along the cliff path (watching choughs and gannets) took us to a pristine natural beach where we swam and investigated sea caves.
Amazing views to the islands. Lovely evensong at St Davids cathedral. We'd love to return one day.
Lovely property located in the most outstanding area .Clean and tidy could have benefited with a Garden table and chairs for outside dining due to some lovely weather.
Cozy and compact, a great place to leave your car in the drive and go walking, had a great time exploring a beautiful setting, easy walk to the coast or St Davids
Hosts were very helpful and friendly .
The maps were excellent idea and all waterproof.
Quiet and well looked after property and garden . Excellent base for coastal footpath exploration as well as beaches hamlets harbours and St David’s city
Small but very well designed and comfortable with all you need. Gorgeous sunny and private walled garden. Only 3/4 mile walk to stunning coast path with seals and wildlife in abundance. Friendly and helpful host.
The cottage was very clean. We were greeted by Steward one of the owners he was very helpful and friendly. We were in evolved in a small car accident so we arrived a bit later without a car till very much later, Steward offered to go and get us a take away, but luckily we had a few ite as me until the morning. I would highly recommend this holiday to everyone. We will certainly be going back again.
Ideal for older people. Quite a way out in the sticks from St. Davids. Car essential. October good as tourists are limited.
This could be so busy in school holidays. Weather reasonable.
We had the most restful and rejuvenating week staying at the Chapel Studio. The cottage was cosy but had all that we needed for our stay. The garden was such a haven and a joy to sit and relax in. St David's was a 5-10 min drive away and has superb cafes and restaurants. The cathedral is stunning and is a must.
The costal walks were breathtaking and the beaches awesome. A week of sunshine certainly helped.
Our expectations of our week in Pembrokeshire were exceeded !
What a wonderful cottage! We spent a very relaxing and comfortable week at the beginning of June . The owners were attentive, available and keen to check everything was ok without being intrusive. The cottage was spotless, well equipped and cosy but not cramped. The location was excellent with St Davids and the coast within walking distance. We walked, cycled and took advantage of the coastal bus which runs frequently in the summer. We only used the car once. If we are in the area again, this will definitely be our first choice of accommodation. Thank you, Anne and Stuart.

Glad you enjoyed the garden space. We have chosen to use a heavy wooden coffee table and garden bench because they cannot blow around even in the conditions sometimes experienced in locations like ours.
