Not what we expected

The house is set up like individual room rental - all doors have self-closing hinges etc, we have young children, it wasn't ideal.

Thanks for the feedback Sheryl, we think the house is beautiful and set in wonderful gardens with a lovely feel and elegant touches. The doors are self closing in the bedrooms, which complies with fire regulations, and whilst you may have found this a problem, we haven't had any negative feedback about this from previous guests, but we will keep it in mind and make future guests aware that the bedroom doors are self closing.
