About this property

Brook House, Brinton, Norfolk

This well-presented, stylish and detached double-fronted house sits in a delightful rural setting overlooking rolling farmland, on the edge of this very desirable North Norfolk village.

Nestled quietly and peacefully in its pretty garden, this lovely cottage for six lucky people and their canine companions is the perfect country retreat for those seeking space to relax and chill-out, celebrate or recuperate.

Inside Brook House you'll discover a mix of Scandinavian-country-chic rooms decorated in soft whites with hints of colour, ensuring a sense of calm as you walk through the front door. With characterful original features such as wooden floors and a contemporary wood burning stove, you will love its interior as much as it location, and its comfortable beds and gorgeous views.

Super-snug and relaxed, the lovely living room is welcoming, whether you choose to stay in the summer or the winter. Soft sofas and chairs are the order of the day, but when you can steel yourself away from the warmth of the wood burning stove, then head to the spacious country-style kitchen with its large dining table which makes for a great social space. With practical floors here too, your pampered pooches won't feel left out, plus there's a practical utility room too.

Upstairs you'll find three superb bedrooms to choose from; a master King size bedroom with en-suite shower room and a further King size bedroom plus a twin bedroom and a family bathroom. All the beds are dressed in soft linens and bedding with throws and cushions to ensure you enjoy a blissful night's sleep.

When the days are longer and warmer, head outside and enjoy the garden. Or pull on your boots and walk the quiet lanes and pathways that surround this pretty Norfolk village.

Wonderful stay
This is a beautiful house in the countryside. It’s light and airy, with lots of space and beautifully furnished with everything you need, a real home from home. We look forward to returning to this property again.

Lovely Holiday
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Brook House. We found it very peaceful, comfortable and well equipped, and the enclosed garden was ideal for our dogs. It very definitely deserves a '4' rating level, and would have been '5' but for a few cleanliness issues, such as some dirty cutlery, plates and glasses and a blocked shower tray in the en-suite. The surrounding area is gorgeous and we had a lovely holiday.

First trip to north Norfolk
Brook House was everything we had hoped it would be. Perfect for four adults with two dogs. Facilities were excellent and so comfortable it was like home from home, yet quieter. The wildlife and birds visiting the secure garden and sunflower field across the lane made a perfect setting. The information provided ensured we found perfect places to visit, buy food and shop. Hopefully we'll have another opportunity to stay here and continue exploring this brilliant part of the UK.

Lovely place to stay!
Spent a lovely week in Brook cottage. Absolutely loved the peace and tranquility. Lovely comfortable cottage, well equipped. Only thing we'd suggest is maybe a wardrobe or two to hang the clothes from, as the clothes ladders didn't really suffice. Dog friendly, although dogs not allowed upstairs which was tricky for us having a blind dog. Lovely to sit out in the morning and enjoy breakfast or a cuppa in absoloute peace.

Large house with beautiful garden in a very quiet location
Brook House is an older property, the upstairs is brighter and airier than downstairs. Lovely views across fields from main bedroom, nice en-suite. Light not working in 3rd bedroom, charger not working in second bedroom. Lovely bbq area outside with plenty of seating, great garden for kids and dogs. The window frames need to be cleaned in the kitchen. Kitchen could do with a revamp. Great coffee machine. Nice to have a large washing machine and tumble drier.
