Chalet Versoye was perfect for our 2- family trip. The chalet is in the heart of the picturesque alpine village of Montchavin, with a very short walk to the bakery for fresh croissants and baguettes, a well stocked and reasonably priced grocery store, gift shops and a couple of bars and restaurants (some of which were closed as it was the end of the season) the ski hire was easy and convenient and the gondola to get up the mountain was a 2 minute walk from the Chalet. Our friendly host, Manos, was there to meet us and show us round when we arrived. Inside the chalet there are plenty of bedrooms, comfortable beds and a spacious living/dining area. The kitchen has all the cooking equipment you need for self catering. The views of the mountains, especially from the upstairs balcony are amazing and the hot tub was a welcome treat after a long day of skiing. The only small things that could be improved are somewhere to hang coats in the entryway and the info states shampoo and container are provided but only hand soap was available (just to note when planning what to bring)Overall we had a great stay and we would definitely consider coming back!
