Very spacious, warm, friendly space with all of the needed amenities. Carol and James checked in daily to see if we needed anything. The pictures that they sent with the initial information were very helpful, especially the pic of the parking space that we were to use.The bed was SO comfortable, we slept amazingly well to be away from home. The pictures on Vrbo were extremely accurate, the home was as presented. Both bedrooms were nice size with good beds and TVs.

This accommodation is actually a basement of a home. It was very clean, and close to Berlin and shops. However, for the price, I was not overly impressed. They provided a "baked oat" dish that was not impressive. But the place was clean and they don't expect you to clean up after yourself, but we did. I guess for what you might pay in other places in Amish Country, the cost might not be bad. I just thought it was a little much.

So this apartment space is level with the outside ground making it the ground level/ 1st floor of our home. Whereas a basement is space located below ground level. We do provide a variety of complimentary snacks & treats. Including bottles of water in the fridge. A small cart on a countertop fully loaded with a variety of snacks. A small dish with mints & hard candies. And either a fresh baked loaf of bread or freshly made dish of baked oatmeal, both made locally. We are sorry you didn’t enjoy the baked oatmeal dish provided.
