Set in the small picturesque village of Innellan 4 miles outside Dunoon. Totally secluded gardens offer complete privacy. Nice spacious and fully equipped holiday home. With 5 bedrooms an extra bathroom would make it perfectly. We had a wonderful stay in Acadia.

The house is beautiful! Everything was as pictured. With 5 adults and 1 infant, we had more than enough space for the whole family and it was very comfortable. We especially loved all the outdoor spaces - the beautiful view, the fire pit, and hot tub. Lisa was a great host and communicated very thoughtfully.

Stunning house with amazing views. The house has everything you would ever need and a lot more and it’s immaculate. Great location, some lovely walks nearby. Our host Lisa was great and reached out beforehand with lots of useful information and was contactable throughout our stay. Would highly recommend 5 star! Thank you for having us

Acadia was beyond anything I could have imagined when I booked, the photos don’t do it justice! From the space to the amenities everything was perfect. Lesley was a fantastic host and was so accommodating and quick to respond. She added so many little extras and touches to the property that we weren’t expecting and that really made our time at Acadia so much better. I can’t wait to hopefully go back and stay again!

Acadia Festive Family break

Stunning !!, from the moment we arrived (Late afternoon) the entrance to the property was stunning with exterior lights showing the definition of the house. Once we entered the house it was exactly how it was advertised in the brochure. The family enjoyed their stay and we will be looking at rebooking another stay in 2023

Beatiful,setting, we were a party of 7 ,supposed to be of 9, Hot tub was lovely We used morrisons delivery service, to house , That was a disappointment as £130 worth of groceries nvr turned up and had to go into dunoon and pick up, which was an hour and 15mins walk, and got taxi back, we had just missed the bus every hour bus. Lesley you r fantastic from start to finish with your prompt reply,s and efficiency, We will defo be back. 😁👍

I would like to say we've had many deliveries from Morrisons for guests with no issues so not sure what went wrong with your order but understand frustrating for you but outwith our control. I would like to clarify your comment regarding the hour and a half walk to collect . Your party were dropped off by Mini bus and your correct there is a bus hourly but their is also fantastic Taxi service to and from Dunoon so just want to be clear the choice to walk although was very admirable was also totally avoidable and a personal choice. I just want to make sure people viewing property are clear about this. Thanks again

Beautiful house initial reaction

The situation with bathrooms and toilets is not suitable for 10 women. Our initial ready on was it was stunning however, what we found after staying in the house and comparing it to some amazing houses that we have stayed in was the following, if this doesn’t affect you you will love it. Dining area stunning, kitchen area not thought out well, not enough work surfaces, the utility is a good bit away where the coffee machine and dishes etc are, this could have been incorporated in the kitchen and it would have been perfect. There are very large social areas and the only toilet is off the bedroom downstairs which has a rickety stable door, this has a shower in a large room which could have been separated to have a separate toilet area as this had a Jack and Jill door which was not suitable, no mats in the shower area unfortunately my friend slipped and fell and broke her shoulder, she was only using our shower as the second floor showers were also not adequate Jack and Jill again. The top floor has a lovely bedroom with a spiral staircase looked lovely however, no bathroom so image coming down this if you need the fillet during the night and also having to use the facilities in one of the bedrooms. The inside doors were glass looked lovely however, everyone didn’t like the light coming into the bedrooms. The outside are is beautiful very well maintained, the location was perfect to walk to innelan, The osborne was great so hospitable and the lunches looked amazing

Just to clarify the house is under new management and as such so far two new bathrooms have been installed. Also a new coffee station in the kitchen area.
